2024-2026 届理事会成员包括 President Maria Krenek (Eureka)、Vice President Susan Harrison (Livermore)、Secretary George Perko (Piedmont)、Treasurer Kirby Fong (Livermore)、Membership Chair & 网站管理员 Michelle Andrade (Livermore)、Livermore Show Chair Kirby Fong (Livermore)、Director-at-Large Steve Hampson (Santa Ana) 等; 区域代表覆盖北加州沿海 (Eureka)、东湾 (Livermore)、加州谷地 (Escalon)、内华达 Sierra (Reno) 等地区。

San Diego 县山区 Julian 镇举办 Julian Annual Daffodil Show (Julian Town Hall), Murphys 地区的 Mother Lode Daffodil Show 在 Ironstone Vineyards 举办, Fortuna Garden Club 在 River Lodge Conference Center 主办北加州海岸 Daffodil Show。

Fall Bulb Auction and Member Benefits

Each October or November, NCDS hosts its members-only Fall Bulb Auction & Potluck at Alden Lane Nursery in Livermore, where members are guaranteed to take home a bag of bulbs, new members receive a welcome gift, and an internationally recognized horticultural speaker (such as former ADS President Harold Koopowitz) delivers a featured presentation. Members receive the NCDS Newsletter via email or postal mail, covering daffodil-growing tips, soil preparation, bulb culture, cultivar catalogs, websites, and public garden resources. The NCDS Bylaws (dated March 2008) are publicly accessible, reflecting the Society’s commitment to transparent governance as a 501(c)(3) educational organization.

Affiliate Network and Educational Outreach

NCDS is a member society of the American Daffodil Society (ADS) Western Region network, working alongside partner clubs such as the Fortuna Garden Club, Mother Lode Show organizers, and the Julian Chamber of Commerce to form a daffodil community spanning California and northern Nevada. The Society partners with Filoli, a National Trust for Historic Preservation garden and ADS Display Garden located outside Redwood City, to host the spring “Daffodil Daydreams” open days featuring educational exhibits and growing workshops. NCDS encourages members and the public to participate in bulb auctions, cultivar shows, judges’ training, and garden tours to sustain America’s daffodil-growing tradition.
