
园区概况
重庆园博园位于重庆市两江新区鸳鸯街道龙景湖区域,占地 3300 亩,其中水体面积约 800 亩,是一处集自然山水和园林艺术为一体的超大型城市生态公园。园区于 2011 年第八届中国(重庆)国际园林博览会期间建成开放,由重庆市园博园管理处负责日常运营管理,是重庆主城区一处少见的兼具山地湖泊与平地展园的城市公园。
展园与园林版图
园区汇集国内外展园共 127 处,分为江南园、北方园、岭南园、巴渝园四大传统园林版块以及国际园和现代展园片区,重庆本地展园、上海园、武汉园、绍兴园、南昌园、巴渝园、昆明园、银川园、休斯顿园等分布在环湖沿线。展园之间由风雨廊桥、龙景桥和濯花水谢等园林小品串联,龙景书院、卧龙石、银浪石矶点缀其间,是西南地区集中展示中外园林艺术风格的窗口。
专类园与植物景观
园内设有龙景湖湿地、江南园湿地花园以及环湖沿线多个植物专类区,栽植三角梅、樱花、梅花、菊花、杜鹃、月季、海棠、紫薇、蜡梅等观赏植物,并按区域打造江南、北方、岭南、巴渝四大传统园林以及国际园、现代展园等不同风格的植物景观。环湖区域栽植蚊母、四季桂、南天竹、红叶石楠、金森女贞、红继木、春鹃等灌木和地被约 6 万株,龙景书院周边和卧龙石边坡是三角梅、梅花集中分布带。江南园湿地花园以雨水花园、屋顶绿化等海绵城市技术为特色,主入口、云顶、环湖沿线、东入口等地的灌木和地被补栽使园区四季有花可赏。
科普教育与生态名片
园区先后获评国家 4A 级旅游景区、国家生态环境科普基地、重庆市科普教育基地和中国人居环境范例奖,并加入中国公园协会、重庆市文明单位等。园博园管理处与重庆市科协、生态环境部门长期合作,常年开展科技活动周、全国科普日、世界环境日、国际生物多样性日等主题活动,原创的《重庆园博园海绵湿地 3D 动画》《一滴水的重生之旅》等科普作品在央视频、科普中国等平台播出。
节庆活动与游园服务
园内每年秋季举办重庆市菊花艺术展(已连续举办至第二十七届),春季推出郁金香、樱花、梅花等花事;端午、中秋、国庆等节庆期间还配套有非遗民俗展演、盆景艺术大赛、年宵花展和国庆主题游园活动。园区配套游客服务中心、自驾船码头、共享电瓶车、游船、垂钓基地、萌宠乐园、溪谷森林探索营、快乐小火车等休闲项目,近年新增长沙式自助售货机、预约入园系统、人车分流步游道、联桌椅等便民服务设施。
Park Overview
Chongqing Garden Expo Park sits by Longjing Lake in the Yuanyang Subdistrict of Liangjiang New Area, covering about 3300 mu with around 800 mu of water surface. Built for the 8th China (Chongqing) International Garden Expo and opened in 2011, it is operated by the Chongqing Garden Expo Park Administrative Office under the municipal Urban Management Bureau and serves as a large urban ecological park that combines mountain, lake and garden landscapes.
Exhibition Gardens and Layout
The park holds 127 exhibition gardens in total, grouped into Jiangnan Garden, Northern Garden, Lingnan Garden and Bayu Garden, together with International Garden and Modern Garden sections. Featured pavilions include Shanghai, Wuhan, Shaoxing, Nanchang, Bayu, Kunming, Yinchuan and Houston gardens, connected by the Wind-Rain Corridor, Longjing Bridge and Zhuohua Waterside Pavilion, with Longjing Academy, Wolong Stone and Yinlang Stone Jetty punctuating the landscape.
Specialized Gardens and Plant Highlights
The park includes the Longjing Lake wetland, the Jiangnan Garden wetland garden and a series of themed plant collections along the lakeshore, with bougainvillea, cherry, plum, chrysanthemum, azalea, rose, crabapple, crape myrtle and wintersweet featured in seasonal displays. Jiangnan, Northern, Lingnan and Bayu gardens showcase their respective regional planting styles, while the International and Modern gardens highlight exotic and contemporary horticulture. About 60,000 shrubs and groundcovers including Distylium, sweet osmanthus, Nandina, Photinia, Ligustrum, Chinese loropetalum and Rhododendron are grown along the ring road, with bougainvillea and plum concentrated near Longjing Academy and the Wolong Stone slope. The Jiangnan wetland garden demonstrates sponge-city techniques such as rain gardens and green roofs.
Science Education and Recognition
The park is a National AAAA Tourist Attraction, a National Eco-Environment Science Education Base and a Chongqing Municipal Science Education Base, and has received the China Human Settlements Environment Example Award and the Chongqing Civilized Unit honor. It works year-round with the municipal science and ecology departments on Science Week, National Science Day, World Environment Day and International Day for Biological Diversity programs, producing original science videos such as Sponge Wetland 3D Animation and A Drop of Water’s Rebirth Journey.
Seasonal Events and Visitor Services
Each autumn the park hosts the Chongqing Chrysanthemum Art Exhibition, now in its 27th edition, and in spring it stages tulip, cherry and plum blossom displays. Holiday programs around Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn and National Day include intangible heritage performances, bonsai contests, New Year flower shows and themed family activities. Visitor amenities include service centers, a self-drive boat dock, shared battery cars, cruise boats, a fishing base, a pet park, the Valley Forest Camp and a Happy Train, with self-service vending, reservation entry and barrier-free walking paths added in recent years.
