品牌缘起：1984 年创立与日本草本学校

Brand Origins: Founded 1984 and the Japan Herb School

Sun-Farm Trading began as a wholesale herb supplier before opening its first directly-managed retail store, Herb Center ハーブセンター, in 1984 in Higashi-Kanda, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. The shop was conceived from the outset as a specialist outlet for both professional and amateur customers (プロ・アマを問わず), stocking essential oils, carrier oils, herbal teas, dried herbs, and aromatherapy accessories imported from Europe alongside its own-brand items. One year later, in 1985, the company opened the Japan Herb School (ジャパン・ハーブ・スクール) within the same premises, formalising the training of herb instructors and complementing the shop’s retail and wholesale operations. The result is a “retail + wholesale + education” three-pillar structure that has continued under the Since.1984 tagline ever since.
