Flagstaff Native Plant and Seed has been providing Flagstaff and Northern Arizona with beautiful residential and commercial landscaping, outdoor living spaces and restored landscapes for over thirty years. Our extensive knowledge of the native plants, unique microclimates and varied soils of Northern Arizona’s native landscapes enables us to design landscapes that are appropriate, sustainable, drought tolerant and beautiful.
Native Plants and Seeds
We buy our plants and seeds from trusted growers whose products have proven themselves over the years. Our native plants are locally adapted to the climate, soils, pests, and pollinators of the region. Native plant landscapes help reduce water consumption and eliminate the need for pesticides and fertilizers. Large tree preorders require a 50% down payment, with staff personally visiting farms to select the best quality trees.
Landscape Design and Construction
We offer a full range of commercial and residential landscaping services since 1994 — design, construction, planting, and maintenance. Our designs incorporate sustainable permaculture practices: native and drought tolerant plants, rainwater harvesting, permeable paving such as pavers or flagstone, and local landscape materials. We design and build retaining walls, paver and flagstone patios, driveways, irrigation systems, retention basins, outdoor lighting, water features, fireplaces, raised bed gardens, and pergolas.
Professional Team and Maintenance
Sarah Michelon has been designing landscapes and managing crews for fifteen years. Our foremen and most crew members have been with the company for over ten years. Their efficiency and creativity are well developed and respected. We offer one-time, weekly, monthly, or seasonal maintenance contracts, plus irrigation design, installation, repair, winterization, and spring turn-on services.
