Company Overview and History
Kintetsu Landscape Design and Engineering Co. Ltd. is a landscape design and civil engineering company under the Kintetsu Group, headquartered in Nara Prefecture. The business traces back to 1958, when a horticulture section was established within Ayameike Amusement Park Co. Ltd. (later Kintetsu Kogyo Co. Ltd.) to handle landscaping work. In 1960, Cattleya, a flower shop specializing in potted plants and cut flowers, opened at Kintetsu Gakuenmae Shopping Center, marking the first step into floral retail. In 1968 the section was absorbed into Kintetsu Kogyo’s Landscape Division, and in September 1976 the division spun off as an independent company named Kintetsu Landscape Co. Ltd. In September 1995 the company was renamed to its current name, Kintetsu Landscape Design and Engineering Co. Ltd. Capital stands at 50 million yen, with 98 staff as of July 2026. The current president is Yutaka Noguchi.
