历史由来
FlorAlpin 是一家位于德国的家族专营高山植物苗圃, 由 Georg Uebelhart 创立于 1980 年代, 专攻稀有岩石园植物、观赏草本、罕见块茎与球根、耐寒户外兰花以及 Daphne 属植物。从德语 web 商店起步, 苗圃采用矿物含量较高的山地土壤育苗, 因此出品健康、耐寒、适应本地气候的植株, 跟一次性盆栽物流供应差异明显。花园位于德国南部靠近巴伐利亚阿尔卑斯山前的低海拔地区, 苗圃从 1980 年代起逐步扩展, 1980 年代后期正式对外接受邮购订单。

苗圃的业务核心是繁殖那些在德国一般园艺中心买不到或少见流通的物种。苗圃主自述「Ich habe mich auf die Vermehrung von selten angebotenen und außergewöhnlichen Pflanzen spezialisiert」, 重点放在 erlesene Steingartenpflanzen (精选岩石园植物)、Schmuck- bzw Prachtstauden (观赏草本与高草本)、seltene Zwiebel- und Knollengewächsen (罕见块茎与球根)、winterharte Freilandorchideen (耐寒户外兰花) 以及 Seidelbastgewächsen (Daphne 属), 这一业务定位贯穿 40 余年。苗圃每年通过 webshop 季刊更新春季与夏季两个上货季, 春季以多年生与岩石园植物为主, 夏季以球根与块茎植物为主。

FlorAlpin 销售目录按字母分为四组: Pflanzen A–C 含 Alstroemeria、Anemone、Colchicum、Corydalis、Crocus、Cyclamen 六个属; Pflanzen D–H 含 Erythronium、Fritillaria、Gymnospermium 三个属; Pflanzen I–P 含 Iris、Narcissus、Ostrowskia 三个属; Pflanzen R–Z 含 Sternbergia 一个属。英文站点另增 16 个属包括 Androsace、Callianthemum、Hepatica、Lewisia、Phlox、Pogonia、Ranzania、Sanguinaria、Saxifraga、Shortia、Silene、Soldanella、Trillium、Triteleia 等, 多数为高海拔冷凉气候下的早春短命球根或岩石园微型植物。苗圃对每个物种都附有生存温度、原产地、海拔偏好、栽培土壤建议等说明。
採購及运输
FlorAlpin 设最低起订量 Euro 70, 不足额订单不予受理; 部分物种年度供应量有限, 采用先到先得或每人限购一份策略。苗圃採摘后夏季球根与季末球根一般在 9 月至 10 月间出货, 欧洲大陆 EC 范围内都能发货, 但目前不发货英国。顾客在下单时可在「用户中心」附言区指定所需送货窗口, 否则按苗圃排程尽快发出; 部分大尺寸块茎类因需等植株自然回苗后才起货, 发货时间可能顺延。

History
FlorAlpin is a family-run alpine plant nursery based in southern Germany, founded by Georg Uebelhart in the 1980s and devoted to botanical rarities that rarely appear in general garden centres. The owner specialises in rock-garden plants, choice ornamental perennials, rare bulbs and tuberous plants, hardy outdoor orchids, and Daphne species. Plants are raised on mineral-rich substrates drawn from the foothills of the Bavarian Alps, which the nursery argues produces hardier, more climate-adapted stock than the standard peat-based production common across northern European nurseries. The business began as a small private collection and moved into mail-order trade by the late 1980s.
Main Business
At the core of the nursery is propagation of plants rarely offered in mainstream trade, which the founder describes as ‘Ich habe mich auf die Vermehrung von selten angebotenen und außergewöhnlichen Pflanzen spezialisiert’. The four priority groups are erlesene Steingartenpflanzen (choice rock-garden plants), Schmuck- bzw Prachtstauden (ornamental perennials), seltene Zwiebel- und Knollengewächsen (rare bulbs and tubers), winterharte Freilandorchideen (hardy outdoor orchids), and Seidelbastgewächsen (Daphne). Two webshop seasons are updated each year: spring focuses on perennials and rock-garden species, summer shifts to the bulb and tuber catalogue, which historically has been the nursery’s most active period.
Plant Groups
The retail catalogue is divided into four alphabetical sections. Pflanzen A–C covers Alstroemeria, Anemone, Colchicum, Corydalis, Crocus, and Cyclamen. Pflanzen D–H adds Erythronium, Fritillaria, and Gymnospermium. Pflanzen I–P includes Iris, Narcissus, and Ostrowskia. Pflanzen R–Z wraps up with Sternbergia. The English-language catalogue adds a further sixteen genera such as Androsace, Callianthemum, Hepatica, Lewisia, Phlox, Pogonia, Ranzania, Sanguinaria, Saxifraga, Shortia, Silene, Soldanella, Trillium, and Triteleia, most of them short-season alpines or rock-garden miniatures suited to cool high-elevation climates. Each species carries notes on cold tolerance, native range, altitude preference, and cultivation substrate.
Ordering and Shipping
FlorAlpin applies a minimum order value of Euro 70, and orders below this value cannot be accepted. Some species are released in limited annual quantities and may be allocated first-come or per-customer as supply allows. Summer and late-season bulbs are usually lifted and shipped between September and October. Shipments are made within the European Community, but delivery to the United Kingdom is currently not possible. Customers can specify a preferred delivery window in the order notes; otherwise orders ship in the nursery’s own rotation. Some large tubers are only lifted after foliage has naturally died back, which can delay dispatch by several weeks.

FlorAlpin enjoys a stable reputation in the German and European alpine-gardening community, mainly for the consistent supply of less-traded species and for keeping provenance information on individual accessions. The nursery also exchanges seed and mother-stock with private collectors and alpine societies in Switzerland and Austria.
