苗圃历史
Plantworld Holland 是一家位于荷兰西南部的小型专科苗圃, 1980 年以 Kwekerij Alpine 的名字起家, 创办人 Koos van Dijk 与夫人 1991 年去英国度假时, 在一座花园里看到一片开满小花的地毯, 后来才知道那是来自南非山地的 Rhodohypoxis (罗氏花), 一种小巧的鳞茎植物. 这种植物后来成为 Alpine 的招牌, 苗圃也一度拥有荷兰全国的 Rhodohypoxis 收藏. 2007 年 Kwekerij Alpine 一分为二, Koos 独自以 Plantworld Holland 的名字继续经营, 慢慢把目光放到欧洲市场上几乎还没人卖过的多年生植物上.
物种收藏
今天苗圃的品种单涵盖各种不常见的低矮多年生植物与阴生植物, 包括 oncocyclus 鸢尾 (Oncocyclus Irissen)、Pelargoneum tricolor、Glaucidium palmatum、Paeonia mlokosewitchii、Corydalis King Fisher、Codonopsis convolvulacea、各类 Galanthus (雪滴花)、Pleione (独蒜兰)、小型水仙、Lilium bakerianum、Lilium lophophorum、Massonia、Moraea 等, 常年根据 Koos 的兴趣做调整. 苗圃的经营范围聚焦在「不常见的多年生植物 + 阴生植物 + 鳞茎」, 是典型的爱好者型专类苗圃.
鳞茎与种苗清单
苗圃每年发布两份库存清单: 6 至 7 月公布一份不耐寒鳞茎清单, 8 月底至 9 月初公布一份 oncocyclus 鸢尾清单, 都可以通过苗圃邮箱免费订阅. 清单里基本是苗圃当年实际可供应的种球或盆栽, 数量有限, 老客户优先, 售完为止.
参展与购苗方式
除了清单邮购, 苗圃每年都参加荷兰、比利时、德国各地的园艺展 (Plantenbeurzen) 与花园市集 (Tuinfairs), 是面对面看货、挑货的好机会. 现场 Koos 会带当季的盆栽和鳞茎, 也可以聊聊栽培经验. 具体出席场次每年会更新在苗圃网站, 出发前可先查一下.

Nursery History
Plantworld Holland is a small specialist nursery in the south-west of the Netherlands. It started in 1980 as Kwekerij Alpine, founded by Koos van Dijk. In 1991, Koos and his wife took a holiday to England, where they discovered a carpet of small colourful flowers in a garden, later identified as Rhodohypoxis, a tiny bulb from the South African mountains. This charming little bulb became a mainstay of Kwekerij Alpine for years, and at one point the nursery held the national Dutch collection of Rhodohypoxis. In 2007 Kwekerij Alpine was split, and Koos continued on his own as Plantworld Holland, gradually turning his attention to unusual hardy perennials that were barely available in the Netherlands and surrounding countries.
Plant Collection
Today’s range covers a wide assortment of low-growing perennials and shade plants, including Oncocyclus irises, Pelargoneum tricolor, Glaucidium palmatum, Paeonia mlokosewitchii, Corydalis King Fisher, Codonopsis convolvulacea, Galanthus species, Pleione species, mini-narcissus, various Lilies such as Lilium bakerianum and Lilium lophophorum, Massonia, Moraea and more. The list shifts each year as Koos follows his own interests. The nursery specialises in unusual low perennials, shade plants and bulbs — a classic hobbyist-style specialist nursery.
Bulb & Seed Lists
The nursery publishes two stock lists a year: in June or July a list of non-hardy bulbs, and at the end of August or early September a list of Oncocyclus irises. Both lists are available by mail (contact details redacted), free of charge. It typically contains whatever bulbs or potted plants the nursery can spare that year, in limited numbers, with regulars served first until stock runs out.
Fairs & How to Buy
In addition to mail order via the lists, the nursery attends various plant fairs (Plantenbeurzen) and garden fairs (Tuinfairs) across the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany every year. These are good opportunities to see plants in person, talk to Koos, and pick up seasonal potted plants and bulbs. The current year’s schedule is updated on the official site, so check before travelling.
