协会背景
丹麦 高山植物协会（Den Alpine Have，简称 DAH）是 The Alpine Garden Society（AGS）设在丹麦的地方分会，约 1980 年前后开始组织活动，现有丹麦会员约 250 人。协会把「高山植物」广义理解为适合碎石床、岩石园、冷室以及小型耐寒植物群落的一类植物，包括真正的高山植物、宿根、球根、蕨类、林下植物、矮生针叶树、灌木等。协会既服务丹麦克里斯蒂安港、奥胡斯、哥本哈根等地的园艺爱好者，也接待希望借丹麦通道接触 AGS 英国母会资源的北欧邻国同好。
会刊与活动
协会每年出版四期丹麦克朗语会刊《Den Alpine Have》，内容涵盖高山植物科普、引种记录、栽培日记、海外植物考察见闻、协会动态等。协会还协调将英国 AGS 出版的英文季刊《The Alpine Gardener》转寄给丹麦双会籍会员，让读者不必通读英国邮局也能持续接触欧洲高山植物研究的最新文本。同时，协会每年编纂一份全球种子目录，依托志愿者的种子捐献网络向会员分发来自欧洲、亚洲、北美、南美高山生境的多类种子，让会员以低门槛在家中试种稀有物种。
展览与会员交流
协会每年举办两次全国性聚会：春季「Forårsmøde」以花卉展览、摄影比赛评选为主；夏季八月的「Efterårsmøde / Plantebytning」则把会员之间的小苗、种子、鳞茎交换集中安排在一个下午，会员可以现场分享自己繁育的难繁物种。日常层面，丹麦多地的「Åbne haver」开放花园项目让会员彼此走访私家园地，交换栽培经验；线上展厅「Online Planteudstilling」则收录无法到场的会员提交的年度展示作品，使外地会员同样能够参与评审。
会员与服务
协会 2026 年设有三档会费：A 档 640 丹麦克朗，包含丹麦 DAH 会籍与 AGS 英国母会在线杂志；A2 档 820 丹麦克朗，在 A 档基础上改为寄送英国《The Alpine Gardener》印刷本；B 档 325 丹麦克朗，仅保留丹麦本地会籍。协会设有主席、秘书、财务、会员登记、网络编辑、图书馆员等岗位，并维护一个面向会员外借的图书馆与历史照片档案。会籍之外的访问者可通过协会网站查看公开的活动预告、公开的展览照片、对外公开的会员花园索引与丹麦语 / 英语双语「Den Alpine Have / The Danish Alpine Garden」介绍页。

About the Society
Den Alpine Have (DAH) is the Danish branch of The Alpine Garden Society (AGS) in the United Kingdom. The Society was first organized around 1980 to serve alpine-plant enthusiasts in Denmark, and currently has about 250 members across the country. Its remit covers plants suited to scree, rock garden, cold frame or alpine-house cultivation, including true alpines, dwarf perennials, bulbs, ferns, woodland plants, dwarf conifers and small shrubs.
Magazines and Seed Exchange
The Society publishes four issues of the Danish-language magazine Den Alpine Have each year, featuring cultivation notes, plant-hunting reports, book reviews and Society news. Through its cooperation with the UK AGS, members can also receive The Alpine Gardener, the English-language quarterly of the parent Society. Every autumn the DAH office compiles a seed list drawn from a worldwide donor network spanning Europe, Asia, North and South America, and members may order seeds at low cost during the winter cycle.
Shows and Member-to-Member Exchange
The Society runs two national meetings a year. The spring Forårsmøde combines a small plant show with the annual photo competition. The late-summer Efterårsmøde focuses on a member-to-member plant and bulb exchange, where surplus seedlings, bulbs and named cultivars are swapped on the spot. The Open Gardens (Åbne haver) project invites members to visit each other’s gardens in regions across Jutland, Funen and Zealand, while the Online Planteudstilling allows remote members to submit exhibit photos that are judged alongside the in-person displays.
Membership and Resources
For 2026 the Society offers three membership tiers: Tier A (640 DKK) includes DAH plus AGS UK with online access to The Alpine Gardener; Tier A2 (820 DKK) substitutes a printed UK magazine delivery; Tier B (325 DKK) covers DAH membership only. The Society maintains a board with chairman, secretary, treasurer, membership registrar, web editor and librarian roles, and runs a lending library and a historical photo archive that are available to all current members.
Position in the Alpine Gardening Network
Headquartered in Ringkøbing, western Denmark, Den Alpine Have acts as the Danish node inside AGS UK’s International Group network. It maintains a public Facebook group, exchanges seed catalogues with sister societies in Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland, and is the largest Danish non-profit devoted specifically to alpine gardening and the study of alpine plants in the wild.
