Bountiful Farms Nursery is located in Woodburn, Oregon, in the heart of the beautiful Willamette Valley. Founded approximately thirty years ago by the Nelson family—originally hazelnut farmers—the nursery has grown into one of the largest specialty topiary nurseries in the Pacific Northwest.
Nursery Overview
In 1994, family patriarch Jay Nelson and his wife Julia established Bountiful Farms Nursery. After successfully farming hazelnuts for many years, the Nelson family developed a fascination with growing quality nursery stock. Today the nursery spans over 700 acres, with some loyal employees having worked there for over 30 years—including brothers Crecencio Froylan and Hippolito Froylan, experts in plant grafting and propagation, and Saul Loeza, their talented plant sculpturist. In response to labor shortages, the nursery has also adopted cutting-edge robotic technology to maintain consistent quality.
