协会沿革与组织
德国倒挂金钟协会（Deutsche Fuchsien-Gesellschaft e.V.，DFG）于1981年9月5日在法兰克福棕榈园成立。当时有77名倒挂金钟爱好者参加会议，其中64人登记为创会成员。协会以德国各地的地方友好圈为基础，组织花展、交流和品种信息分享。源站历史页还记录，协会早期的标志由Bärbel Oswald绘制，图案至今仍在使用。

History and organization
The Deutsche Fuchsien-Gesellschaft e.V. (DFG) was founded at Palmengarten in Frankfurt on 5 September 1981. The source history page says that 77 fuchsia enthusiasts attended the meeting and 64 signed the founding-members list. The society works through local friendship groups and shares information about exhibitions, cultivation and varieties. Its early emblem, drawn by Bärbel Oswald, is still used.
Journal and member exchange
Fuchsienkurier is the society’s quarterly newsletter. According to the source site, 164 issues were published between 1981 and 2022. It carries society news, fuchsia descriptions, reports from local groups and nursery advertisements, and remains a written link between members.
Fuchsia resources and varieties
The society’s site provides a gallery, recommended varieties, botanical fuchsias, cultivation advice, pest and disease information, and notes on new introductions. Its monthly-fuchsia and breeder pages give practical descriptions of growth, light, overwintering and flower form; some entries also identify parent plants such as F. paniculata and F. fulgens var. miniata.
