Phoenix Perennials 由植物学家 Gary Lewis 于 2004 年在攻读植物学硕士学位期间从本地花园设计师 Clare Philips 手中接手一家小型专类多年生苗圃起家，逐步扩张为面向全国园艺爱好者的目的地型零售苗圃，并依托大温哥华温和气候与多年生植物多样性的优势，长期在铁筷子、硬叶地生兰、本土植物、传粉植物与耐旱植物等专类领域深耕。
五千种植物的零售选品与本土自营生产
苗圃现场每年提供超过五千种植物，覆盖多年生植物、灌木、乔木、藤本、地被植物、观赏草、蕨类、室内观叶植物、多肉、稀有球根、耐寒亚热带植物以及稀有食用植物等品类，盆栽规格覆盖 6 厘米、9 厘米、11 厘米、15 厘米以及 1 加仑，顾客收货后无需缓苗即可下地栽培。
加拿大全国邮购体系与多渠道配送服务
2013 年 Phoenix Perennials 启动加拿大全国邮购业务，目前每年向加拿大境内邮寄超过三千种不同植物，仅限加拿大境内配送；邮寄业务依托 Canada Post 与 FedEx 两大承运商按目的地择优选用，主目录邮购订单集中在每年 5 月中旬至 6 月底之间发货，并为大西洋省份等高风险区域延后发货以保证植株安全。

Origins and Western Canadian Nursery Positioning
Phoenix Perennials was founded on the principle that most of the plants sold through the nursery are grown in-house from plant material sourced from around the world, allowing the team to maintain quality while offering uncommon cultivars not typically found at retail garden centres.
Five Thousand Plant Retail Catalogue and In-house Production
The nursery offers over 5000 different garden plants each year for in-person shopping, including perennials, shrubs, trees, vines, ground covers, ornamental grasses, ferns, houseplants, succulents, rare bulbs, hardy subtropicals, and rare edibles, grown as potted, full-size, ready-to-plant specimens.
Canada-wide Mail Order and Multi-channel Fulfillment
Mail order shipping launched in 2013 and currently offers more than 3000 different plants each year for delivery within Canada only, via Canada Post and FedEx, with multi-channel fulfillment including in-nursery shopping, online order pick-up, courier and freight service throughout Metro Vancouver, and Canada-wide mail order.

The nursery maintains an online Plant Encyclopedia and Perfect Plant Search tool, an E-Newsletter and Mail Order Alert subscription, and is located in Richmond, BC, Canada, open seven days a week from late February or early March through mid November including all holidays, 10 am to 5 pm.
