婚礼季从6月一直持续到10月，仪式最早可在上午11点开始，最晚不超过晚上9点结束。场地提供5类套餐：Elopement Package 适合不超过15人的私密仪式；Weekday Ceremony Package（周一至周四）覆盖16至50人、51至100人、101至150人三个档次；Weekend Ceremony Package（周五至周日）也提供同样三个档次，最大可容纳200人加收额外费用。近期完成翻新的玻璃温室为雨雪天气提供室内备选场地。

温室零售季节与主打品类

温室零售季节通常从5月开放至6月初。主营品类包括一年生草本花卉、多年生耐寒植物、香草、蔬菜苗以及多规格的吊篮与组合盆栽。访客可在温室开园日现场挑选，亦可提前通过网站公布的预订档期下单。受季节限制，温室每年只在这段时间接待零售顾客，团队其余时间则专注于活动筹备与场地维护。

场地延伸服务与品牌咖啡

场地除婚礼外也承接静修、企业团建、生日聚会、周年纪念等不同规模的活动，可使用温室室内空间与户外花园区。Patty 与 Courtney 的家族在场地一侧开设了 Morning Brew cafe 家族咖啡店，提供意式咖啡、拿铁、手冲、冰饮及季节限定特调，周四至周日营业。咖啡店既是访客歇脚的去处，也是活动期间供餐饮配套的延伸服务点。

Hastings Lake Gardens operates on the rural edge of Sherwood Park in Alberta, Canada, where the family has run a working greenhouse since 1975 — a span of more than forty consecutive seasons. The core greenhouse footprint is approximately 16,000 square feet and is staffed year-round by Patty and Courtney along with a small team of growers familiar with the local prairie climate. Alongside plant production, the property hosts weddings, celebrations and team retreats, giving it a dual identity as both a horticultural site and a managed event venue.

Wedding Ceremonies & Package Options

The wedding season runs from June through October. Ceremonies can begin as early as 11:00 am and must conclude by 9:00 pm. The venue offers five package lines: an Elopement Package for private gatherings of up to fifteen guests; Weekday Ceremony Packages (Monday through Thursday) sized for 16–50, 51–100 and 101–150 guests; and matching Weekend Ceremony Packages (Friday through Sunday) at the same three sizes, with additional fees for groups above 150 and a 200-guest ceiling. A recently renovated glasshouse serves as an indoor backup space when weather turns wet or cold.

Greenhouse Retail Season & Featured Plantings

Retail greenhouse hours are limited to a short seasonal window each year, generally from May through early June. The lineup focuses on annual flowers, hardy perennials suited to the prairie climate, culinary herbs, vegetable starts and a wide range of hanging baskets and combination planters. Visitors can shop in person on opening day or reserve plants through the seasonal pre-order programme published on the official site. Outside this window the team redirects its attention to event preparation and grounds upkeep.

Venue Extensions & On-site Coffee

Beyond weddings, the venue accommodates retreats, corporate offsites, milestone birthdays and anniversary gatherings, drawing on both the glasshouse interior and the outdoor gardens. Adjacent to the venue the family operates Morning Brew cafe, a small on-site coffee shop serving espresso drinks, lattes, teas, iced beverages and seasonal specials, open Thursday through Sunday. The shop acts both as a casual stop for visitors and as a beverage partner for hosted events.

Seasonal Events & Community Engagement

Several recurring events anchor the property to its surrounding community. Greenhouse Opening Day marks the start of each retail season in spring. The Insiders’ Event offers newsletter subscribers early access to the greenhouse before the public opening. Christmas at the Gardens brings together local artisans for a seasonal market, and the HLG Hootenanny music festival closes the summer with live bands on the grounds.
