安大略园艺贸易协会(Landscape Ontario Horticultural Trades Association,简称LOHTA)成立于1973年,是加拿大安大略省最具影响力的园艺行业协会,会员超过3000名,涵盖景观与维护承包商、景观设计师、草坪养护经营者、花园中心业主、树木栽培师、苗圃种植商、室内景观设计师以及灌溉与景观照明承包商等园艺贸易全产业链。协会由选举产生的省级董事会志愿领导,致力于提升行业专业水平、推动环境绿化、增进消费者对园艺的信任。

组织架构:分会与行业小组

协会在安大略省内设有9个区域分会,会员按地域就近加入对应分会,便于本地交流、解决共同问题并组织社区绿化项目。各分会每年通过志愿者时间和物资捐赠为社区绿化贡献价值超过50万加元。在分会体系之外,协会另设10余个行业小组,包括设计、绿地管理、种植商、景观承包商、草坪养护、室内景观设计、灌溉、灯光、雪与冰管理等专业方向,行业小组定期召开行业会议,专注解决细分领域的技术与商业问题。

Green for Life与公众活动

协会发起的”Green for Life”绿色生活推广项目旨在向公众传递园艺之美与益处,将消费者与LO会员企业连接起来,会员可使用统一的视觉识别与营销材料覆盖卡车与工地标识、零售标识、产品标签及活动营销等接触点。除行业推广外,协会每年主办Canada Blooms加拿大花卉展等大型公众活动,并参与本地家居展与社区活动,使园艺成为更广泛公众生活方式的一部分。

会员服务与行业资源

协会为会员提供培训项目、商业发展支持、就业服务、行业认证、线上杂志与播客内容等核心资源,并通过与多家品牌合作提供会员专属折扣与团购优惠。协会以”领导、协作、社区、可持续、包容、专业、教育”为价值核心,致力于将自身打造为安大略省可持续园艺职业的枢纽。

The Landscape Ontario Horticultural Trades Association (LOHTA) is a vibrant Canadian association founded in 1973, representing over 3,000 horticultural professionals across Ontario. Its membership spans the full green industry value chain, including landscape and maintenance contractors, landscape designers, lawn care operators, garden centre owners, arborists, nursery growers, interior landscapers, and irrigation and landscape lighting contractors. The association is governed by an elected Provincial Board of Directors and is dedicated to elevating the green industry, fostering public trust in the horticulture profession, and supporting education and research within the field.

Organizational Structure: Chapters and Sector Groups

Members are organized into nine regional chapters across Ontario, providing local networking, peer support, and opportunities to address community landscaping challenges. Chapters collectively contribute more than CAD 500,000 worth of volunteer time and materials each year to community greening projects. In addition to the chapter system, the association maintains more than ten sector groups spanning design, grounds management, growers, landscape contractors, lawn care, interior landscaping, irrigation, lighting, and snow and ice management, each meeting regularly to discuss sector-specific issues and develop solutions.

Green for Life Campaign and Public Events

The association’s Green for Life initiative aims to inspire consumers with the beauty and benefits of horticulture and connect them with Landscape Ontario member businesses. Participating members use a unified visual identity and marketing materials across truck signage, job site signage, retail signage, product tags, and event marketing. Beyond the campaign, the association hosts large public events such as Canada Blooms each year and participates in local home shows and community initiatives, helping to make horticulture a wider part of public lifestyle and culture.

Member Services and Industry Resources

Core member services include training programs, business development support, employment services, industry certifications, an online magazine, and a podcast, with exclusive discounts and group benefits negotiated with a wide range of partner brands. The association’s stated values are leadership, collaboration, community, stewardship, inclusivity, professionalism, and education, and it positions itself as the hub for sustainable horticulture careers in Ontario.
