园内多年生植物专区号称“多年生植物总部”，集中展示和出售 250 余种 Zone 3 Prairie 耐寒多年生植物，主供应商为 Heritage Perennials（蓝盆品牌）。所售品种按日照、土壤、花期、花色、株高等可检索特征组合陈列，方便顾客按需挑选；同区还常年配植同源供应商提供的可食用香草与切花植物，部分区域开辟了可现场采摘品尝的香草示范田。

防护林计划与观赏树木

店铺长期主推防护林计划与观赏树木区，树木与灌木主供应商为 Bron & Sons，提供适应当地气候的杨树、桦树、白蜡、槭树、苹果树、樱花树等数十种苗木。苗圃区占地近一英亩，分区域展示可成林的乔木、彩叶灌木、蜜源植物与冬季常绿树，并提供家庭庭院尺度的成株与裸根苗两类规格，便于顾客按地块大小直接选苗。

季节时段与营业周期

店铺每年 4 月 22 日前后开放至 10 月 1 日前后闭店，闭店期间仅接受预约到访。春季与初夏的工作日营业时间集中在 10:00 至 20:00，夏季高峰缩短为 10:00 至 17:00，部分周一至周三改为预约制。所有营业时段、闭店安排与季节性调整均以店铺现场告示及对外平台更新为准。

募捐项目与社区支持

店铺持续面向学校、社区球场与公益旅行等本地项目发起募捐型植物销售活动，由 Beth 长期对接组织者与申请者。2026 年的募捐名额已满，2027 年度的申请通道已开放，可通过对外公开页面或店铺联系方式提交。除此之外，店铺还不定期举办园艺知识分享与员工培训，承担周边园艺技能普及与季节性用工培育。

Product Line Overview

Echoglen Gardens is a family-owned retail garden centre set on a working farm near Donalda in east-central Alberta. The on-site shop and its companion Lightspeed online store carry annuals, perennials, ornamental trees and shrubs, evergreens, fruit trees, bagged soils, fertilisers and a broad range of pots and accessories, with stock rotated through the open season.

Signature Perennial Yard

The perennial yard is promoted as the local perennial headquarters, presenting more than 250 Zone 3 prairie-hardy perennials supplied primarily by Heritage Perennials in their signature blue pots. Plants are grouped by sun exposure, soil, bloom time, colour and height, alongside edible herbs and a small cut-flower trial bed open for in-season tasting.

Shelterbelt Programme and Ornamental Trees

The nursery’s shelterbelt programme and ornamental tree lot draw on Bron & Sons as the main supplier, offering poplars, birches, ash, maples, crabapples, cherries and other climate-adapted stock. Almost an acre of trees and shrubs is laid out by planting purpose, mixing windbreak species, flowering shrubs, pollinator plants and wintergreens in both landscape-size and bare-root forms.

Seasonal Hours and Operating Cycle

The garden centre reopens around April 22 each year and closes again near October 1, with appointment-only visits outside that window. Spring weekday hours extend to 20:00, while high summer weekdays shorten to 17:00 with some Mondays through Wednesdays reserved for appointments. Posted in-store signage and the public channels remain the reference for any current hour change.

Fundraisers and Community Engagement

The team runs recurring plant-based fundraisers for local schools, playing fields, jerseys and community trips, with Beth coordinating applicants and organisations. 2026 fundraiser slots are full and 2027 applications are now being accepted through the public page or direct contact, while in-house horticultural knowledge sharing and seasonal staff training continue year on year.
