历史沿革

公司由瑞士机械师费利克斯·弗利施于 1945 年在纳沙泰尔州的莱日内沃苏科夫兰村创立,起步厂房是一座旧制表工坊,好友莫里斯·珀蒂皮耶尔出资支持。1948 年推出标志性修枝剪 FELCO 2,奠定了现代修枝剪的标准。1978 年改组为有限公司,股权归创始人直系后裔;1979 年费利克斯退休,女婿埃里克·佩兰接任。2003 年第三代传人洛朗·佩兰接替父亲,2004 年其弟皮埃尔-伊夫加入,集团更名为弗利施控股,旗下整合 FELCO SA 与普雷塔 SA 两家公司。

产品体系

公司主营八大品类:修枝剪、高枝剪、拉切锯、电缆剪、嫁接与修枝刀、电动工具、口袋刀(500–506 系列)、配件。FELCO 2 自 1948 年起持续生产,2025 年迎来 80 周年纪念版,2026 年 2 月推出电动版 FELCO 2e。旗舰款还包括 2018 年获评瑞士设计大奖的 FELCO 2、世界首款带旋转手柄的修枝剪系列,以及 1991 年问世的 FELCO 80 电动修枝剪。所有产品的零部件均可单独更换,旧剪可返厂送回纳沙泰尔工厂修复。

可持续发展

可持续性是公司自 1945 年以来的核心基因,体现在原材料、电力、热能、废弃物管理四个维度。生产中产生的钢屑与铝屑压实后返还供应商回收;工厂用电全部来自可再生能源,屋顶装设有太阳能电池板;FELCO 2 是行业首款采用锻造铝的修枝剪,所用钢材 95% 来自回收料,铝材 70% 来自回收料。所有产品出厂后均可维修,延长工具寿命,减少资源消耗。

认证与品质

公司持有 ISO 9001(质量管理体系)与 ISO 14001(环境管理体系)两项国际认证,产品符合欧盟 REACH 化学品法规,生产过程中不使用汞、铅等有害物质。2018 年旗舰款 FELCO 2 获颁瑞士设计大奖。所有手动工具享受 24 个月质保,所有锻造铝部件、500–506 系列口袋刀及 3.90 系列嫁接刀享受终身质保。

服务与售后

公司在总部工厂提供返厂修复服务:FELCO 工具将被完全拆解、清洗、更换磨损部件(刀片、弹簧等,价值上限 35 瑞士法郎)并重新润滑装配,采用统一固定费用,可选回寄服务费 8 瑞士法郎。公司另设展厅参观、工厂参观、维修工作坊三类品牌体验项目,在南非等地设有 FELCO Tools Africa 等海外子公司,负责区域分销与售后。

Historical Evolution

FELCO was founded in 1945 by Swiss mechanic Félix Flisch in Les Geneveys-sur-Coffrane, Canton of Neuchâtel, in a former watchmaking workshop; his apprentice friend Maurice Petitpierre provided the initial capital. The iconic FELCO 2 pruning shears were released in 1948 and set the standard for modern pruners. In 1978, the firm was converted into a limited company whose shares were held by the founder’s direct descendants. Félix Flisch retired in 1979 and was succeeded by his son-in-law Eric Perrin. In 2003, third-generation Laurent Perrin took over from his father, and his brother Pierre-Yves joined in 2004; the group was reorganised as Flisch Holding, comprising FELCO SA and Prétat SA.

Product Range

The catalogue spans eight lines: pruning shears, loppers, pull-stroke pruning saws, cable cutters, grafting and pruning knives, power tools, pocket knives (500–506) and accessories. The FELCO 2 has been in continuous production since 1948, reached its 80th anniversary in 2025 with a special edition, and an electric evolution, the FELCO 2e, was launched in February 2026. Other flagship products include the FELCO 2 (Swiss Grand Prix of Design winner), the world’s first rotating-handle pruners and the FELCO 80 electric pruning shears. Every component on every tool can be replaced individually, and end-of-life shears can be returned to the Neuchâtel factory for full restoration.

Sustainability

Sustainability has been in the company’s DNA since 1945 and is structured around four pillars: raw materials, electricity, heat and waste. Steel and aluminium swarf generated during manufacturing is compacted and returned to suppliers for recycling. Electricity comes exclusively from renewable sources, including solar panels installed on the factory roof. FELCO 2 was the industry’s first forged-aluminium pruning shear; the steel used today is 95% recycled and the aluminium 70% recycled. All tools are designed to be repaired rather than replaced, extending service life and reducing resource use.

Certifications and Quality

The company holds ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 14001 (environmental management) certifications, and products comply with the EU REACH regulation, with no mercury, lead or other listed hazardous substances used in production. In 2018, the FELCO 2 received the Swiss Grand Prix of Design. All manual tools carry a 24-month warranty, while all forged aluminium components, the 500–506 pocket knives and the 3.90 grafting knives are covered by a lifetime warranty.

Service and After-Sales

A factory restoration service is offered at the headquarter workshop in Les Geneveys-sur-Coffrane: tools are fully dismantled, cleaned, lubricated, fitted with replacement wear parts (blade, spring, up to CHF 35 in value) and reassembled by hand under a single flat fee, with optional return shipping at CHF 8. The company also runs three brand-experience programmes (FELCO Exhibition, FELCO Tour of the Living Factory, and repair Workshops) and operates international subsidiaries such as FELCO Tools Africa (South Africa) to handle regional distribution and after-sales support.
