历史沿革

德国 Götzes Gartenland 月季苗圃位于萨克森-安哈尔特州萨尔茨兰县（Salzlandkreis）的巴尔比（Barby），坐落在萨勒河汇入易北河之处，土壤条件尤其适合玫瑰生长。苗圃由 Heliane Götze 与 Hans-Peter Götze 夫妇于 1990 年共同创立，距今已有逾三十年历史；而园艺经营的传承还可上溯至 1949 年，前后绵延七十多年。现在的经营者为创始人家族第二代与第三代：女儿 Julia Gärtner 担任苗圃园丁并专攻玫瑰，儿子 Oskar 自 2013 年起同时在苗圃与办公室承担商务工作；目前共有约 14 名经验丰富的园丁与销售人员组成团队。Hans-Peter Götze 本人是园艺大师（GaLaBau 方向）并拥有农业化学专业学位，是苗圃技术与景观营造方面的核心人物。

苗圃主址位于巴尔比的火车站旁，地处萨勒河汇入易北河的三角地带。营业面积共 15,000 平方米，将展示花园、玫瑰园、植物销售区与办公接待融为一体，让顾客能够现场观摩苗木长势再决定采购。营业时间为周一至周五 10:00–17:00，周六 10:00–16:00，周日及节假日休息；建议顾客提前预约以获得详尽咨询。苗圃亦在秋冬季节大力推广「秋季是更佳的种植季」理念，主推春季球根、秋色叶苗木与果树，同时常年提供礼品券（Geschenkgutschein）作为馈赠选择。

特色资源与木兰专长

除玫瑰外，苗圃的另一招牌品类是木兰（Magnolien），店内常年备有 50 个以上的品种，被主理人称为「跨代树」（Mehr-Generationenbaum），意指其寿命长、树姿逐年丰美，是庭院中能持续给予主人陪伴的骨干树种。除此之外，苗圃还经营独植树（Solitärgehölze）——即各类造型绿植、遮荫大树、特别花木等观赏性强、能让邻居眼前一亮的孤植树种，配合灌木、乔木、果树、针叶树、攀援植物、宿根植物、绣球等组成完整的庭院植物线。配套商品则有玫瑰专用栽培土、玫瑰专用肥料、玫瑰病害防护剂、覆土树皮、种子、阳台植物及精选园艺配件，构成从植株到资材的一站式购物体验。

History

Götzes Gartenland is a rose nursery in Barby, Salzlandkreis, Saxony-Anhalt, situated where the Saale flows into the Elbe, a location whose soil is particularly favourable for roses. The nursery was founded in 1990 by Heliane Götze and Hans-Peter Götze, and the horticultural tradition at the site stretches back to 1949, more than seventy years of continuous cultivation. The current operators are the founder family’s second and third generations: daughter Julia Gärtner, a nursery gardener and rose specialist, and son Oskar, who has been active in both garden care and office administration since 2013; together with around fourteen experienced gardeners and sales staff they form the working team. Hans-Peter Götze himself is a certified master gardener in Garten- und Landschaftsbau and holds an engineering degree in agricultural chemistry, providing the technical core of the business.

Three Core Services

The nursery is built on three pillars: the Garten-Baumschule for plant retail, Gartengestaltung for garden design and construction, and Gartenpflege for long-term garden maintenance. The retail and display area covers 15,000 square metres, including a show and rose garden (Schaugarten) where visitors can stroll among mature plantings. Design and care work serves private gardens and corporate grounds throughout Barby and the wider Magdeburg area, covering new plantings, redesigns, renovations, and ongoing tasks such as mowing, pruning, fertilising, weeding, lawn renovation, soil cultivation, dethatching, hedge and fruit-tree pruning, and the specialised care of topiary specimens.

Rose Varieties and Breeders

The nursery claims the largest rose selection in Saxony-Anhalt and sells container-grown roses year-round in consistently high quality. By habit it stocks Beetrosen (bed roses), Edelrosen (large-flowered), Duftrosen (fragrant), Strauchrosen (shrub), Zwergrosen (dwarf), Bodendeckerrosen (ground-cover), Kletterrosen (climbers), Ramblerrosen (rambling) and Stammrosen (standard), as well as ADR-certified cultivars, classic favourites, fragrant, historic and wild roses. Suppliers include German family breeders Kordes, Tantau and Noack, the British David Austin, the French Delbard, and BKN / Meilland.

Facilities and Opening Hours

The main site is beside the railway station in Barby, in the Saale-Elbe triangle. A total of 15,000 square metres combines the show garden, rose garden, plant sales area and office reception, allowing customers to inspect plants on site before deciding. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 10:00–17:00, Saturday 10:00–16:00, closed on Sundays and public holidays; detailed consultations are best arranged in advance. In autumn the nursery actively promotes the idea that autumn is the better planting season, highlighting spring bulbs, autumn-coloured woody plants and fruit trees, and gift vouchers (Geschenkgutschein) are available throughout the year.

Magnolia Speciality and Companion Stock

Alongside roses, the nursery’s signature speciality is magnolias, with more than fifty cultivars usually in stock, presented as Mehr-Generationenbaum (multi-generation trees) for their longevity and the increasing beauty they gain with age. The nursery also offers a broad range of Solitärgehölze — specimen shrubs and trees, topiary forms, shade-giving house trees and distinctive flowering specimens intended to catch a neighbour’s eye — together with shrubs, trees, fruit trees, conifers, climbers, perennials, hydrangeas, soil amendments, bark mulch, seeds, balcony plants and a curated selection of horticultural accessories, giving visitors a one-stop shop from specimen to supplies.
