The Peninsula Garden Club (PGC) is a local gardening society based on the northern tip of the Saanich Peninsula on Vancouver Island, in the Greater Victoria area of British Columbia, Canada — centred on the town of Sidney and the surrounding North Saanich community about 30 kilometres north of the provincial capital, Victoria. Founded in 1955 as the “North Saanich Garden Club” by 48 local gardeners with an initial annual fee of CAD 1, the society was renamed “Sidney and North Saanich Garden Club” in 1966 and adopted its present name Peninsula Garden Club in 1996.
