荷兰植物园协会 NVBT(Nederlandse Vereniging van Botanische Tuinen)的官方门户位于 botanischetuinen.nl,域名直译即「荷兰的植物园」(Botanische Tuinen in Nederland),是覆盖全国 25 家植物园的伞形行业协会。

网站顶栏导航分两大区块:主菜单有 Agenda(活动)、Tuinen(花园)、Zoek een plant(按植物检索)、Botanic Guardians(守护者项目)、Steun ons(捐助支持);副菜单有 home、nieuws(新闻)、profielwerkstukken(学生研究报告)、kijk & luister(视听)、over ons(关于)、contact、English。

Botanic Guardians

Association and Domain

The Dutch Botanical Gardens Association NVBT (Nederlandse Vereniging van Botanische Tuinen) operates its official portal at botanischetuinen.nl — a domain whose literal Dutch name means “Botanical Gardens in the Netherlands”. It is an umbrella body for 25 botanical gardens across the country, working to conserve plant biodiversity within the broader context of a sustainable world. The website publishes its Statuten, the policy plan Beleidsplan 2017–2022, annual accounts (Jaarrekening 2023 / 2024) and annual reports (Jaarverslag 2024) for public and member access.

Primary Navigation and Member Institutions

The site splits its top navigation into two blocks. The main menu lists Agenda, Tuinen, Zoek een plant, Botanic Guardians and Steun ons. The secondary menu links to home, nieuws, profielwerkstukken, kijk & luister, over ons, contact and English. The Tuinen sub-page presents all 25 member gardens in both map and alphabetical list form, each entry giving street address, postcode and city. Coverage spans Aalsmeer, Alkmaar, Amsterdam (3 entries), Apeldoorn, Arnhem (2 entries), Buitenpost, De Lutte, Delft, Den Helder, Doorn, Haren, Hilversum, Kerkrade, Leiden, Nijmegen, Oudenbosch, Pieterburen, Putten, Rotterdam (2 entries), Utrecht and Wageningen.

Seed Exchange and Living Collections

The over ons page states that every member garden maintains a documented living plant collection used for research, conservation, exhibition and education. Gardens exchange seeds with one another so that a species is not confined to a single institution, increasing the chance of long-term survival. Labels in every garden carry both the Latin and Dutch names of each plant; the Zoek een plant tool lets visitors reverse-search a plant species to locate the member garden that holds it.

Botanic Guardians Programme

The Botanic Guardians sub-page introduces the public brand HORTUS Botanic Guardians, launched during 2017 — the Year of Dutch Botanical Gardens — and frames the gardens as custodians of biodiversity. The programme draws attention to species that have disappeared from the Netherlands or are threatened worldwide, and invites the public to take part in activities such as naming street plants and botanical sidewalk-chalk drawing (Botanisch Stoepkrijten). Visitors can subscribe on that page to the association newsletter for ongoing updates.

Agenda and Public Documents

The Agenda sub-page aggregates the year’s events across all 25 member gardens. Programme items include the Stekken cutting-propagation workshop series at Trompenburg Tuinen en Arboretum (25 February, 20 May and 26 August, 11:00–13:30), the Inleiding tot Dendrologie evening course held at Trompenburg and Arboretum Oudenbosch (twelve evenings from 12 March), the Kabouterpad children’s trail at Hortus Alkmaar (21 March – 25 October), the botanical illustration workshops at Nationaal Bomenmuseum Gimborn (24 May, 28 June, 2 and 23 August, 13:00–15:00), the Teresa Hunyadi woodcut workshop and the Mareike Naumann CADANS ceramics exhibition at TU Delft Hortus Botanicus. The Persinformatie sub-page provides press materials and photography for journalists.
