
泛澳洲际食虫植物协会(Australasian Carnivorous Plant Society,简称AUSCPS)成立于2002年12月,是一个非营利性组织,致力于推动澳大利亚及亚太地区食虫植物的保护与栽培。协会在悉尼设有总会,并在布里斯班和堪培拉设有分会,定期举办公开会议、年度展会和植物交流会,为会员和爱好者提供交流平台。
协会宗旨

悉尼总会
悉尼总会每月第二个周五在伍德斯托克社区中心(Woodstock Community Centre)举办公开会议,时间为晚上7:30至10:00,地址位于伯伍德区(Burwood)教堂街22号。总会每年举办年度夏季展会(Annual Summer Show)和年度植物交流会(PlantFair),为会员和公众提供购买稀有食虫植物、交流栽培经验的机会。协会2026年PlantFair将于4月19日在菲茨罗伊厅(Fitzroy Hall)举办。
分会活动
协会在布里斯班和堪培拉设有分会。布里斯班分会每月第三个周三在肯布罗恩图书馆(Kenmore Library)聚会,联系人是Liam Kreiger。堪培拉分会每月第一个周五在唐纳社区厅(Downer Community Hall)聚会,联系人是Matthew Day。分会活动包括本地食虫植物研究、栽培经验分享和野外考察等。
出版物
协会编辑出版两种会员期刊:《Carniflora Australis》是专业学术期刊,刊载食虫植物分类学、生态学和栽培研究论文;《Flytrap News》则是面向全体会员的通讯期刊,提供月度新闻、会员交流和活动公告等内容。两份刊物均可通过协会网站下载PDF版本。
种子银行

Mission
The Australasian Carnivorous Plant Society (AUSCPS) was established in December 2002 as a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting the conservation and cultivation of carnivorous plants in Australia and the broader Australasian region. The society maintains its headquarters in Sydney with active chapters in Brisbane and Canberra, holding regular meetings, annual shows, and plant fairs to serve its members and the broader community.
Sydney Headquarters
The Sydney headquarters holds open meetings on the second Friday of each month at the Woodstock Community Centre, 22 Church Street, Burwood, NSW, from 7:30 to 10:00 pm. The headquarters organises the Annual Summer Show and annual PlantFair events, offering members and the public opportunities to acquire rare carnivorous plants and exchange cultivation knowledge. The 2026 PlantFair is scheduled for April 19th at Fitzroy Hall, Woodstock Community Centre.
Chapter Activities
The society maintains active chapters in Brisbane and Canberra. The Brisbane chapter meets on the third Wednesday of each month at Kenmore Library, Kenmore Village, 9 Brookfield Road, Kenmore QLD 4069, contact: Liam Kreiger. The Canberra chapter meets on the first Friday of each month at Downer Community Hall, Frencham Place, Downer, from 7:30 to 10:00 pm, contact: Matthew Day. Chapter activities include local research, cultivation exchanges, and field excursions.
Publications
The society publishes two member journals: Carniflora Australis is a peer-reviewed academic journal featuring taxonomy, ecology, and cultivation research papers on carnivorous plants. Flytrap News is a member newsletter providing monthly news updates, member correspondence, and event announcements. Both publications are available as PDF downloads from the society website.
Seed Bank
The AUSCPS Seed Bank is a key member benefit, providing access to rare carnivorous plant seeds from Australia and around the world. The seed bank encourages member participation in seed exchange programs, promoting the diversity and conservation of carnivorous plant species.
