Our Roots and Locally Owned Operation

High Q Greenhouses Ltd. is an independent, progressive commercial grower locally owned and operated in Sturgeon County, Alberta. The company began in the spring of 1988 and has been producing propagation material for more than thirty-five years, serving Western Canada as a wholesale young plant supplier.

Greenhouse Footprint and Modern Equipment

The facility combines gutter-connected and freestanding houses that bring the total greenhouse area to 60,000 sq. ft. Equipment includes an autostix transplanting machine and in-house ellepots production, with a state-of-the-art individualized software program streamlining methodology. Continuous investment in upgrades, training and quality materials is part of how the team serves its wholesale customers.

Young Plants, Wholesale Range and Custom Projects

High Q supplies finished product, custom orders and young plants in a wide range of tray sizes, with new varieties added to the line each year. The wholesale customer base covers more than 450 companies across the western provinces, including greenhouses, garden centers, landscapers, municipalities, golf courses and hardware stores.
