Jené’s Tropicals is a family-owned tropical plant retail nursery located in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, USA. Founded by Jené VanButsel in 1987, the nursery is one of the largest specialty retail nurseries for citrus and tropical fruit trees in the Tampa Bay region. The nursery maintains a long-standing partnership with the Rare Fruit Council of Tampa Bay and specializes in tropical fruit trees, palms, tropical flowers, flowering trees, bonsai, succulents, orchids, and related horticultural products, along with professional landscape design and installation services.

The nursery was founded in 1987 by Jené VanButsel in St. Petersburg, Florida. Over nearly four decades of development, the business has accumulated more than 40 years of horticultural expertise and cultivation knowledge. The palm tree category includes areca palm, bottle palm, cardboard palm, coconut palm, foxtail palm, lady palm, licuala grandis palm, pony tail palm, and many other tropical varieties. The tropical flower category includes bird of paradise, blue ginger, blue plumbago, pink oleander, Confederate jasmine, evergreen plumeria, jatropha, lobster claw heliconia, Miami Supreme gardenia, night-blooming jasmine, sambac jasmine, sea grape, Madagascar jasmine, and others. The flowering tree category includes crape myrtle, Dynamite Red bush, dwarf red poinciana, dwarf yellow poinciana, Hong Kong orchid, jacaranda, royal poinciana, tibouchina, and dwarf ylang ylang.
