About our company
In the famous bulb region of The Netherlands, Van Haaster-Nevada B.V. began as a family business in the 1950’s as a grower of flowerbulbs, specialized in Tulips, Hyacinths and Daffodils. After several years the activities shifted from growing to exporting flowerbulbs, tubers and plants.
Today the company serves countries around the world such as Europe, Russia, Middle East, Far East and the United States.
Thanks to the experience as a grower, Van Haaster-Nevada B.V. has an in-depth knowledge of various products and knows how to obtain the best bulbs, tubers and plants for their customers.
Production
Van Haaster-Nevada B.V. stands for quality. All our products are thoroughly examined for size, health and rooting by our quality-control-department. We regularly visit our growers and suppliers. We go out into the fields to conduct a first inspection of the products while still growing. We closely monitor the entire process from harvest to delivery of the products in our warehouse.
Export
The bulbs are examined in each stage of their development. We concentrate on supplying prepared flowerbulbs and tubers for the production of cutflowers. This process takes place in our company’s modern climate-controlled units. This obviously requires a carefully designe logistic process. As soon as the bulbs are ready to be delivered, they are packed for transport and shipped to our customers across the world.
