家族与农场起源

季节性 Garden Market 零售

批发与社区团购

Barlow’s 同时面向景观承包商、独立花园中心与公司客户开展批发业务, 自家农场直供一年生花卉、多年生植物、灌木、常绿植物与热带植物, 季节覆盖每年 3 月 1 日至 12 月 15 日左右. 秋季还面向 Monmouth 与 Ocean 两县的学校、球队与社区组织提供菊花与甘蓝的团购项目, 由批发团队按组织规模协调品类、配货与取货. 2018 年, 在 Stephen 与 Leslie 仍主导、第三代 Stephen Barlow III 负责日常运营、其兄弟 Thomas 作为初级种植者学习业务的阶段, 农场被 Greenhouse Grower 杂志评为年度最佳运营 (Operation of the Year). 农场同时以高质量的一品红 (poinsettias) 在业内出名.

秋季家庭日活动

Family & Farm Origins

Barlow’s Farm & Flowers is a family-run flower farm and garden center in Wall Township, New Jersey, purchased by Stephen and Leslie Barlow in 1983. A fourth generation now helps out during school breaks and the busiest stretches of the season. The original homestead goes back to a farmhouse built in 1807 in the small coastal town of Sea Girt, about 60 miles south of New York City. The property grew across generations from a single retail greenhouse and a handful of growing houses into one of New Jersey’s largest retail annual growers, with the family once propagating up to about 70% of what they sold on-site.

From Sea Girt to Wall Township

In October 2025, after 42 years in Sea Girt, the family closed that chapter to focus on growing. In April 2026, the farm reopened on a 22-acre property at 3425 West Hurley Pond Road in Wall Township, just minutes from NJ-34 and the Garden State Parkway, about 3 miles from the original Sea Girt site. Several varieties that had been grown on this new farm for years and trucked up to Sea Girt are now sold directly to visitors on-site. The Wall Township site is also home to the seasonal Garden Market and wholesale operations.

Garden Market & Seasonal Sales

The seasonal Garden Market operates as an open-air retail space on the farm, stocking farm-grown annuals, perennials, shrubs, evergreens, vegetables, herbs, and tropicals, along with high-quality bagged soils and mulches. About 90% of what is sold comes from the 22-acre property; the rest is sourced from a small group of trusted partner growers. The spring lineup focuses on annuals, perennials, tropicals, hanging baskets, drop-in combinations, and herbs. The fall lineup covers mums, pumpkins, gourds, cornstalks, pansies, cabbage and kale, plus the $50 Porch Kits (one corn stalk, one hay bale, one grande mum, two choice mums, one large pumpkin, and one small pumpkin).

Wholesale & Fundraising

Barlow’s supplies landscapers, independent garden centers, and select corporate clients with farm-grown annuals, perennials, shrubs, evergreens, and tropicals on a wholesale basis, generally from March 1 through mid-December. Fall fundraising programs run for Monmouth and Ocean County schools, sports teams, and community organizations, with mums and kale priced for resale. In 2018, while Stephen and Leslie were still guiding the business, Stephen Barlow III was managing day-to-day operations and Thomas was learning the trade as a junior grower, Greenhouse Grower magazine named Barlow’s its Operation of the Year. The farm is also known in the region for its award-winning poinsettias during the holiday season.

Fall Days on the Farm

On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from September 11 through October 25, plus Columbus Day, the farm hosts Fall Days on the Farm during Garden Market hours. Activities include farm tours, tractor rides, a pick-your-own pumpkin patch, interactive mazes, a corn box, fall-themed games, and photo spots. Admission is $10 per person, free for children under 2, with pumpkins sold separately. Tickets are available through SimpleTix. The program is supported in part by a grant from the New Jersey Department of State, Division of Travel and Tourism and the New Jersey Department of Agriculture. Wholesale accounts are currently at capacity for the 2026 season; updates are posted on the official site.
