加拿大 不列颠哥伦比亚高山花园俱乐部（Alpine Garden club of British Columbia，简称 AGCBC，agc-bc.ca）是位于加拿大西海岸的全国性高山植物园艺俱乐部，200 余名会员分布于 16 个国家，其中约一半会员居住在加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚省，其余会员遍及北美其他地区、欧洲、澳大利亚、新西兰和日本；俱乐部由本地高山植物与园艺爱好者长期推动建立，会刊《The Bulletin》自 2004 年起每年定期出刊四期，记录会务、栽培经验与野外考察成果。

俱乐部按会员大会选举制产生理事会负责日常运营，例会时间固定为每年 9 月至次年 6 月的每月第二个星期三，Zoom 在线入会于 7:00 开放，现场聚会在温哥华 VanDusen 植物园 Floral Hall（37 街与 Oak 街交叉口，邮编区域 V5Z）于 7:30 开始，会议程序依次为事务简报、盆栽展示、茶歇、专题讲座与会员抽奖，盆栽展示与抽奖奖品由会员自愿捐赠；俱乐部维持由 Karen Shuster 等理事负责的会员卡与名牌办理、与本地多家特约苗圃维持折扣合作关系。
核心业务：种子交换、野外考察与本土植物保护
俱乐部种子交换项目每年 11 月发布种子目录，由会员在全球栽培地与野外采集的约 1500 个品种（含大量稀有变种）构成，非捐赠会员可领取 30 份、捐赠会员可领取 60 份，捐赠者优先；俱乐部为山地采集远征提供订阅，种子以年会为窗口集中销售。野外考察方面，俱乐部维护配套站 mountainflora.ca，记录 50 余条北美西部、阿尔卑斯山、比利牛斯山与安第斯山脉的一日高山植物徒步路线，并持续推进”Pink Mountain 生物多样性研究倡议”；BC 本土植物保护方向上，俱乐部以展览、讲座与网页资料推动诸如 Lewisia rediviva 等本土干地植物的保护与公众识别。

Organisation Profile and History
The Alpine Garden Club of British Columbia (AGCBC, agc-bc.ca) is a Canadian horticultural society dedicated to alpine and rock-garden plants, with roughly 200 members in 16 countries. About half the membership lives in British Columbia; the rest is spread across other parts of North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. The society grew out of a local community of hardy-plant and alpine enthusiasts and has published The Bulletin four times a year since 2004, documenting meetings, cultivation notes and field-study reports.
Governance and Meeting Schedule
An elected board runs the society’s affairs, with membership administered via the Applications & Renewals channel and a $30 CAD individual-or-household fee. Regular meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month from September through June: a Zoom room opens at 7:00 pm and the in-person gathering at VanDusen Botanical Garden’s Floral Hall, 37th & Oak Street, Vancouver, starts at 7:30 pm. Each meeting follows a fixed order: short business session, pot show, refreshments, invited speaker and member-contributed raffle. Membership cards, name tags and partner-nursery discounts are coordinated through directors such as Karen Shuster.
Seed Exchange, Field Trips and Native-Plant Conservation
The Seed Exchange publishes a yearly list each November drawn from material gathered in cultivation and in the wild by members, totalling around 1,500 varieties, many rare. Non-donors are entitled to 30 packets, donors to 60, with donors given priority. The society underwrites overseas mountain seed-collecting expeditions; seeds are sold at meetings, especially early in the year. The companion website mountainflora.ca documents more than 50 one-day hikes across Western North America, the Alps, the Pyrenees and the Andes, and the Pink Mountain Biodiversity Research Initiative continues the society’s field agenda. Native-plant conservation work centres on British Columbia species such as Lewisia rediviva, promoted through lectures, exhibits and web resources.
Member Services: Bulletin, Library, Open Gardens
Members receive four issues of The Bulletin annually, borrow from a members-only library of specialist books and periodicals at monthly meetings, join the spring Open Gardens circuit to compare cultivation techniques, access member-only Plant Sales and the recorded 2020 Virtual Spring Show. Renewals are due by 31 December each year, payable by PayPal or by mailing a completed AGC_application_form_for_download_and_mailing.pdf with a cheque; international members without PayPal can contact the Membership Director for alternatives.
