LOFA Assured 安全认证
LOFA Assured 是协会针对花园家具坐垫与软装产品推出的安全认证计划,要求所有贴标会员企业销售的软垫类产品均须符合英国《家具与家具陈设消防安全条例》(FFSR, 1988)及相关政府消防法规。协会对会员进行独立第三方审计,通过认证的产品附有 LOFA Assured 吊牌,便于消费者识别合规产品。该计划是 LOFA 推进行业自律、维护消费者权益的核心举措之一。
入会要求与会员权益
LOFA 会员资格面向在英国或爱尔兰地区注册的户外生活产品制造商、独家品牌分销商或设有本地分支机构的境外企业开放,要求申请企业拥有商业经营场所或注册办事处,具备一定规模的库存分销能力,品牌独家代理,且自营零售比例不超过总销售额的 40%。所有申请企业须已持续经营满两年并实际销售户外产品。标准会员年费为 £695 / 年,会籍按自然年计算,发票于一月统一开具。
Association background and history
LOFA, the Leisure and Outdoor Furniture Association, was established in 1967 as a UK trade body representing manufacturers and exclusive distributors in the outdoor living sector. Headquartered in Shropshire, the association operates through a small permanent team under a council drawn from member companies; the current council chairman is Alwyn Williams of Zest Outdoor Living.

LOFA’s membership spans UK and Ireland-based outdoor living manufacturers and exclusive brand distributors. Member brand portfolios cover premium garden furniture, barbecues and outdoor kitchens, parasols and shade structures, outdoor lighting, patio heaters, decorative accessories, fire pits and chimeneas, outdoor soft furnishings, and play equipment. Industry events and the SOLEX exhibition
Each year LOFA organises SOLEX, the association’s flagship outdoor living exhibition held in Hall 5 of the NEC in Birmingham, typically in early July. SOLEX brings together member brands, retail buyers, and industry media for product launches, category showcases, and trade forums. The association also runs a members-only annual golf day, charity lunches, council site visits, and other networking events — the 2026 members’ golf day, for example, was held at The Oxfordshire in Oxfordshire.
LOFA Assured safety certification
LOFA Assured is the association’s safety-mark scheme for cushions and upholstered outdoor products sold by member companies. All LOFA Assured cushions must comply with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 and related UK fire-safety legislation, and members are subject to independent third-party audits. Products carrying the LOFA Assured swing tag give retailers and end consumers a clear signal that the cushion or upholstered product meets current UK fire-safety rules.
Membership criteria and benefits
LOFA membership is open to UK and Ireland-based manufacturers, exclusive-brand distributors, and overseas companies with a UK or Ireland subsidiary or authorised representative. Applicants must operate from commercial premises, hold stocked inventory, represent their brand on an exclusive basis, keep direct retail activity at or below 40 percent of total product sales, and have traded continuously for at least two years. Standard membership is priced at GBP 695 per calendar year, invoiced each January.
