The Seattle Rose Society is a non-profit horticultural society based in Seattle, Washington. Founded in 1913 by local rose enthusiasts, it is the oldest horticultural society in the Seattle area. In 1924 the Society helped the Lions Club establish the Woodland Park Rose Garden within Seattle’s Woodland Park, which remains one of the most prominent public rose gardens in the Pacific Northwest and continues to serve as the Society’s primary venue for pruning demonstrations, variety discussions, and public education.
