农场概况

Donaroma’s是岛上规模最大的多年生植物生产商，公司自有的农场与温室是全部业务的核心。温室与种植园全年培育丰富多样的一年生植物、多年生植物、灌木、乔木及室内盆栽。公司所有植物均由专业种植团队从种子或种苗开始精心培育，确保植株健康强健并完全适应葡萄园岛独特的沿海气候条件。公司零售门店位于埃德加敦（Edgartown）和文雅得港（Vineyard Haven），常年供应一年生、多年生植物、灌木、乔木、地膜、肥料及园艺工具等全系列产品。

公司位于埃德加敦270号上主街的门店配备先进的温室设施，种植面积充裕，备有品种齐全的高品质植物现货，包括一年生、自育多年生植物、灌木和各类乔木。许多品种为葡萄园岛及东北地区本地原生植物，同时苗圃还致力于濒危物种的培育与保护工作。门店还设有资材专区，提供地膜、肥料及园艺工具等配套产品。

About Us

Donaroma’s Nursery & Landscape Services is a long-established family-owned horticultural enterprise on Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, with over four decades of dedicated service to the island. Founded by Mike Donaroma, a fourth-generation Vineyarder who began his landscape career as a teenager maintaining lawns at the Island Country Club (now Farm Neck), Mike pursued formal training in Agronomy at the University of Massachusetts at Stockbridge with additional graduate studies at Harvard University and Radcliffe. Returning to the island with technical expertise and determination, he planted the seeds of a full-service nursery and landscaping company. The business has now passed to the second generation, with his son Jeffrey Donaroma, a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst’s Landscape Architecture program, serving as a designer.

Farm Operations

As the island’s largest perennial grower, Donaroma’s operates extensive greenhouses and growing fields that form the heart of the business. Throughout the year, the farms nurture a vibrant selection of annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, and houseplants, all carefully cultivated from seed or starter by the company’s talented farm and nursery teams. Growing locally ensures that plants are strong, healthy, and well adapted to Martha’s Vineyard’s unique coastal climate. The company’s retail locations in Edgartown and Vineyard Haven offer a wide selection of Donaroma’s-grown perennials, annuals, shrubs, trees, mulch, fertilizer, and garden tools.

Core Services

Donaroma’s provides a complete landscape service system covering design, construction, and maintenance, including hardscapes and construction (paving, water features, lighting systems), irrigation system design and installation, garden maintenance, robotic mower services, tree and shrub care, and custom vision projects. Weddings & Floral Design

Donaroma’s award-winning floral design team provides professional floral services for weddings and special events on the island, including bridal bouquets, venue decorations, ceremony flowers, and reception table arrangements. The team follows the philosophy of “Blooming Beautiful!” — creating custom designs incorporating each client’s preferences in flowers, palette, and vessel. Standing orders for weekly fresh bouquets are available for individuals, hotels, and businesses. Notably, Donaroma’s offers the island’s widest selection of orchids, with a dedicated Orchid Queen (Mariko) who shares expertise on Orchid World with customers.

Retail Nursery

The company’s Edgartown location at 270 Upper Main Street features a state-of-the-art greenhouse and expansive growing grounds, offering a huge selection of highest quality plants including annuals, Donaroma’s-grown perennials, shrubs, and trees. Many selections are native to Martha’s Vineyard and/or the Northeast region. The nursery is also committed to cultivating endangered species as part of its conservation efforts. A well-stocked shed offers mulch, fertilizer, and garden tools.
