历史沿革

日本 盆栽网 BONSAI NETWORK JAPAN 由中沟义弘 (Yoshihiro Nakamizu) 于 1994 年在埼玉市見沼区创立,创立之初便聚焦于把日本传统盆栽艺术与跨境电商服务相结合,经过近三十年发展,目前已成为日本盆栽工具、盆器以及活体植物对外销售领域规模最大的专门平台之一。中沟义弘师从日本盆栽界知名大师铃木道义 (Michiyoshi Suzuki),并长期与当代日本盆栽代表人物木村正彦 (Masahiko Kimura) 保持合作,平台所在的埼玉大宫地区正是日本盆栽艺术的核心发源地。

Historical Evolution

Bonsai Network Japan was founded in 1994 in Minuma-ku, Saitama City by Yoshihiro Nakamizu, who had begun learning bonsai the same year and has since accumulated more than 17 years of professional practice. The founder studies under master Michiyoshi Suzuki, a well-known figure in the Japanese bonsai community, and works closely with Masahiko Kimura, the most renowned contemporary bonsai master in Japan, who was born in 1940 in Omiya-ku, Saitama. From a single bilingual storefront the company has grown into one of the largest dedicated cross-border platforms for Japanese bonsai tools, pots, and live plants.

Core Business

The platform operates a full-line cross-border bonsai e-commerce business with more than 2,272 stock-keeping units across 114 product list pages, ranging from trimming shears, knob cutters, bud trimming shears, defoliating shears and wire to Suiseki display stones, hanging scrolls and the annual Kokufu album. Alongside the retail side, the company runs a Bonsai School that teaches pruning, wiring and repotting to overseas beginners, and a Bonsai Tour service that brings visitors into the professional nurseries of the Omiya bonsai district, including the celebrated garden of master Kimura.

The pot and display stand lineup features long-term collaborators such as Shigeru Fukuda and the Gyozan workshop, plus monthly limited offers and the Kokufu album series, of which volume 100 was released in 2026 to coincide with the centennial of the Kokufu exhibition tradition.

International Service and Logistics

With 17 years of experience shipping live bonsai abroad, the company provides phytosanitary documentation, international freight coordination, and bilingual customer support in English by the founder and in French by team member Damien (damien@j-bonsai.com), based in Japan. Following the 29 August 2025 change in U.S. de minimis rules, the company temporarily suspended postal parcels to the United States on 27 August 2025 and now dispatches U.S. orders exclusively through UPS and FedEx, covering live plants, pots and tools in a single door-to-door flow.
