庄园把四块互相关联的业务放在同一处：园艺与景观工程部（GaLaBau）负责替客户设计与施工庭院，全年营业；玫瑰园（Gartencafé/Laden/Park）由花园咖啡馆、玫瑰与生活用品店以及小玫瑰园三部分组成，仅在夏季开放；活动与庆典部（Reservieren/Feiern/Events）承接家庭聚会、公司活动、婚礼与洗礼；网店（Online-Shop）全年销售礼品、香薰、蜡烛、园艺小品等小件。各部门既独立又互为依托，景观部的客户常顺便走进咖啡馆小坐，玫瑰日的来客又会在店里带走几株玫瑰。
园艺与景观施工
园艺与景观工程部的工作范围涵盖德语区所说的「Garten- und Landschaftsbau」全流程：现场勘察、规划方案、施工落地、植物栽种、设备安装与后期养护。负责人讲明宗旨是做整体方案——从规划设计到施工执行，再交到日常维护。强项有花园新做与改造、Niveko 高分子成品泳池（含木质滚盖）、自动灌溉、自然式多样化栽植、历史玫瑰、大规格乔灌木、自然石墙、屋顶露台与坡地水岸等。工程部活动区域主要在德国南部与瑞士北部，因此与捷克合作伙伴 Niveko 工厂直接对接，挖方、吊装、入园以及报批都由本地团队完成。
玫瑰园、咖啡馆与店铺
玫瑰园占地不大，沿着曾经的果树林荫道一路伸展，一侧是树荫下的咖啡座，一侧是 Orangerie 玻璃房。咖啡馆每日现烤蛋糕与挞类、调配手工咖啡与果味汽水，只用尽量本地、有机、公平与当季的食材。店铺里主打历史玫瑰与英国玫瑰，6 月起售玫瑰苗木，同时也摆着室内外摆件、服饰与园艺小物。园里散落着 Gartenbühne（露天舞台）、Gartenkathedrale（绿篱礼拜堂）与大型石阶几处景致，30 年生苹果树把整个园区框进一片绿荫里，是散步与拍照的常见地点。
开放时间、活动与预约
咖啡馆、店铺与花园只在每年 4 月 30 日至 9 月 25 日之间对外开放，开放日固定为周四与周五的 14:00–20:00；活动预订与园艺施工全年无休。受理来电咨询的时间同样为周四与周五的 9:00–11:00，平时可电邮或在线留言。活动列表按季节铺开：玫瑰日（Rosentage）是六月的家庭开放日，2026 年档期定在 6 月 13 日（周六）至 14 日（周日）的 11:00–18:00；玫瑰早餐（Rosenfrühstück）从 7 月第一个周日启动，每个周日 10:00–13:00 共六场；夏日音乐会 Sound’n Roses 在傍晚 17:30–19:30 举行，6 月与 8 月各一场，按自愿捐赠；冬季另设英国茶室时光（Tea-Time）等小型聚会。餐桌预订 8–18 人免费，但只能在咖啡馆开放日办理；庆典可接待 20 至 100 人；团体参观与导览另开专门档期。
Family and Site
Roseanum Schönbrunn KG is run by the Theiss family on a site in Hilzingen/Schlatt am Randen, in the Landkreis Konstanz of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, a few kilometres from the Swiss border at Schaffhausen. The postal address is Zollstraße 1, D-78247. The company is registered as a Kommanditgesellschaft under Barbara Theiss. The garden was once an old apple orchard and has been turned, over more than thirty years, into a small dedicated rose park.
Four Interlocking Businesses
Four lines of work share the same address. The landscaping department, known locally as GaLaBau, designs and builds private gardens and works year-round. The rose park, garden café and shop form a single seasonal block that opens only in summer. The events and celebrations team handles family gatherings, company events, weddings and christenings. A small online shop sells gift vouchers, incense and fragrant goods, candles, light fittings, garden pieces, clothing and gourmet items all year. Each side feeds the others: landscaping clients drop into the café, and visitors to the rose days often leave with a rose from the shop.
Landscaping and Construction
The landscaping department covers the full German Garten- und Landschaftsbau workflow: site survey, planning, execution, planting, installation and ongoing care. The stated aim is a complete package so that the customer sees one team from the first sketch through to long-term maintenance. Strong suits include new gardens and remodelling, Niveko high-polymer pools with optional wooden roller covers, automatic irrigation, naturalistic mixed plantings, historic roses, large specimen trees and shrubs, dry-stone walls, roof terraces and works on slopes and waterside sites. The team operates mainly in southern Germany and northern Switzerland and works directly with its Czech partner Niveko, handling excavation, lifting, on-site integration and any required permits.
Rose Park, Café and Shop
The rose park stretches along what were once fruit-tree avenues, with shaded seating under mature trees on one side and an Orangerie glasshouse on the other. The café bakes cakes and tarts on site each morning, prepares hand-made coffee specialities and fruit lemonades, and uses produce that is as local, organic, fair-trade and seasonal as possible. The shop stocks indoor and outdoor objects, fashion, small garden items and, from the start of June, historic and English roses for sale as plants. A Gartenbühne open-air stage, a Gartenkathedrale hedge chapel and a broad stone staircase sit among thirty-year-old apple trees that frame the whole park.
Hours, Events and Booking
The café, shop and garden open only from 30 April to 25 September each year, on Thursdays and Fridays from 14:00 to 20:00. Event bookings and landscaping work continue year-round. Telephone enquiries are taken on Thursdays and Fridays from 09:00 to 11:00; emails and contact-form messages are read continuously. The annual programme centres on the Rosentage rose days in June (13 and 14 June 2026, 11:00–18:00), the Rosenfrühstück breakfast series running Sunday mornings from 5 July (six dates, 10:00–13:00, by reservation), two Sound’n Roses garden concerts at 17:30–19:30 in late June and late August with voluntary donations, and a winter Tea-Time in the Orangerie. Café tables seat eight to eighteen and are reserved free of charge on opening days; celebrations accommodate twenty to one hundred guests; group visits and guided tours are handled on request.
