协会与展会概览
HTA（Horticultural Trades Association，英国园艺行业协会）主办的全国植物展（National Plant Show）是英国环境园艺产业链一年一度的核心贸易展会，由七大类专业委员会共同协办，涵盖种植商、零售商、景观服务商以及苗木与绿化材料供应商。
成立背景与历史沿革
协会起源于十九世纪末英国园艺业者联合应对铁路运价、海外竞争与税收等共同议题，由首批六十位代表在 Garden Hall 集会发起，逐步发展为非营利、由会员共同治理的全国性行业协会。
组织规模与成员构成
目前 HTA 共拥有一千四百余家花园零售商会员，并覆盖种植商、生产商、景观施工商以及配套服务商在内的全产业链从业机构；下设 Grower、Landscaper、Retailers、Ornamentals Management、Amenity Suppliers、Retail Supplier、Tree and Hedging Group、Ornamentals Technical 等多个专项委员会。
主办活动与年度展会
全国植物展每年汇集一百五十余家参展企业、约二百六十余个展位，跨越两个展厅展示盆栽、切花、苗圃作物与园艺配套产品，筹备中的下届展会预计将延续这一规模与多产业覆盖特征。
行业服务与会员支持
协会同时承担行业自律、政策倡导、媒体联络以及面向会员的培训、调研、商业基准测试与可持续发展指引等职能，是英国环境园艺行业对外发声与对内赋能的核心平台之一。
Association and Show Overview
The National Plant Show, hosted by the Horticultural Trades Association (HTA), is the United Kingdom’s central trade exhibition for the environmental horticulture supply chain, organized with the support of seven specialist committees that span growers, retailers, landscapers, and amenity suppliers.
Founding and Historical Roots
The association traces its origins to a meeting of sixty horticultural tradesmen convened at Garden Hall in the late nineteenth century, who came together to address shared concerns over railway rates, overseas competition, and taxation.
Membership Scale and Composition
Today the HTA represents more than one thousand four hundred garden retailers alongside growers, manufacturers, landscapers, and service providers across the United Kingdom, supported by dedicated committees for ornamentals, amenity supply, retail supply, tree and hedging, and technical standards.
Flagship Event and Annual Show
The National Plant Show gathers over one hundred and fifty exhibiting companies across roughly two hundred and sixty stands in two halls, presenting ornamental plants, cut flowers, nursery stock, and allied products.
Industry Services and Member Support
Beyond the exhibition, the association delivers policy advocacy, member training, market research, benchmarking, and sustainability guidance, acting as the principal voice for the United Kingdom environmental horticulture industry.
