协会背景

公众教育项目

Association Background

Founded in the early twentieth century, the Massachusetts Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA) is the largest green industry business development organization in Massachusetts, headquartered in the Commonwealth and serving nursery growers, landscape contractors, horticultural consultants, and allied professionals across New England.

Core Mission

MNLA positions itself as a “Resource for Success” for every member. Through structured educational opportunities, up-to-date industry news, legislative advocacy, and business development resources, the association empowers members working across nursery production, landscape installation, plant retail, garden design, hardscape construction, and lawn and garden care.

Membership and Certification

Membership is highly diverse, spanning nursery growers, landscape contractors, container and garden designers, hardscape professionals, and lawn and tree care providers. MNLA administers the MCH (Massachusetts Certified Horticulturist) certification, a recognized professional credential for horticulturists throughout the New England region.

Public Outreach Programs

Plant Something MA is MNLA’s public-facing initiative that introduces community residents to professional environmental horticulturists and the value of skilled landscape and plant care. Growing Wild complements this effort by promoting backyard-scale biodiversity, supporting endangered species, and enhancing the natural beauty of the Commonwealth.
