家族沿革
德国切花月季苗圃 Fellbacher Schnittrosen 位于巴登-符腾堡州斯图加特卫星城费尔巴赫 (Fellbach, 70734), 紧邻斯图加特盆地的老 B14 联邦公路, 由 Schwarzkopf 家族经营, 已是第四代的家族苗圃。源头可追溯到曾祖父一辈在费尔巴赫开办的 Allround-Gärtnerei (综合园艺场, 含盆栽、扎花与公墓园艺); 1953 年 Wolf Schwarzkopf (1935–2005) 接管家业, 1962 年结婚后与夫人 Erne 共同经营, 并把业务逐步转向以蔬菜为主的专业苗圃, 通过「vitfrisch」营销合作社销售。
切花月季专营
1987 年 1 月, Peter Schwarzkopf (生于 1962 年) 在霍恩海姆 (Hohenheim) 完成园艺师与国家认证园艺技师考试后自立门户, 接手相邻苗圃开始种植蔬菜; 1992 年他在地里栽下第一批露地月季, 1993 年秋首次在 Cannstatter 街摆出销售, 此后持续扩种, 并在 1997 年又租下一处相邻苗圃扩种。如今苗圃在约 5 公顷的总经营面积上种植 150 余种切花月季, 是德国南部规模较大的切花月季专营苗圃之一。
玻璃温室与生态做法
2003 年春, 苗圃在 Stuttgarter Straße 直接建起一座现代玻璃温室, 如今既是切花月季的生产车间, 也是直销门店「Haus der Rosen」所在地。温室供暖由费尔巴赫市政热电联供的沼气热电联产装置余热供应 (350 kW 热 + 250 kW 电), 屋顶雨水汇入容量 600 m³ 与 150 m³ 的两座蓄水池用于灌溉。苗圃以有机方式施肥, 并通过释放天敌昆虫大幅减少常规农药使用。
团队与零售
目前苗圃由 Peter Schwarzkopf 与下一代共同经营: Patrick Schwarzkopf (国家认证园艺技师) 负责生产技术, Kim-Aline Schwarzkopf (魏恩斯特凡 (Weihenstephan) 国家认证花艺设计师 / 师傅级 Floristmeisterin) 主管花艺。团队还包括 Bajram Krasniqi (2024 年迎来在苗圃的 30 周年) 等长期员工, 整体以「粉色 Polo 衫」团队形象示人。直销门店 Haus der Rosen 每年三月底至圣诞节营业, 同时在斯图加特市集广场的摊位长期出摊 (周二、周四、周六 7:00–13:00, 冬季仅周六)。
费尔巴赫玫瑰与节庆
2023 年为庆祝费尔巴赫建城 900 周年, Peter Schwarzkopf 与一位育种人共同为城市选定了「Fellbach-Rose」: 一款多次开花的小型地被月季, 由野玫瑰嫁接而成, 高 60–80 cm, 抗病耐寒, 正面深红 (Samtrot)、背面银白, 配色对应城市主色调; 同年夏季开始, 这种玫瑰在多个城市入口处的圆形花坛以及 Lutherkirche 观赏花园和 Fellbacher Schnittrosen 自家苗圃里首次绽放, 既为城市添色, 也是给传粉昆虫的一份厚礼。除了日常零售, 苗圃玻璃温室每年还承办 Glashausparty (12 月) 与 Oldies & Goldies 复古舞会 (11 月) 等活动, 可接待 150 人左右的庆典。
Family History
Fellbacher Schnittrosen is a Schwarzkopf family cut-rose nursery now in its fourth generation, located in Fellbach (postal code 70734), a town just outside Stuttgart in Baden-Württemberg, southern Germany. The story goes back to a general Allround-Gärtnerei founded by the great-grandfather, covering potted plants, floristry and cemetery gardening. In 1953, Wolf Schwarzkopf (1935–2005) took over the family business from his grandfather, ran it together with his wife Erne after their 1962 wedding, and gradually steered it towards specialised vegetable growing for the «vitfrisch» marketing cooperative.
Specialisation in Cut Roses
In January 1987, his son Peter Schwarzkopf (born 1962) — by then a certified Gärtnermeister and Gartenbautechniker from the Hohenheim vocational school — set up on his own, taking over a neighbouring nursery and continuing with vegetable crops at first. In 1992 he planted his first field roses; the following autumn, in 1993, the first bunches were sold on Cannstatter Straße in Fellbach. From then on, new beds went in almost every year, and a second neighbouring nursery was added under lease in 1997. Today the family cultivates more than 150 cut-rose cultivars on a total site of around 5 hectares, making it one of the larger cut-rose nurseries in southern Germany.
Glasshouse & Ecological Practices
In spring 2003, a modern glasshouse was built directly on Stuttgarter Straße, becoming the production space for the cut roses and, at the same time, the home of the on-site farm shop «Haus der Rosen». Heat is supplied by a local bio-gas combined-heat-and-power plant run by Stadtwerke Fellbach under a contracting arrangement (350 kW of heat plus 250 kW of electricity), and rainwater from the roofs is collected in two basins of 600 m³ and 150 m³ capacity for irrigating the roses. The nursery uses organic fertilisation and biological pest control, relying on beneficial insects to keep the use of conventional plant-protection products to a minimum.
Team & Direct Sales
The nursery is now run by Peter together with the next generation: Patrick Schwarzkopf, a certified Gartenbautechniker, looks after production and technical questions; Kim-Aline Schwarzkopf, a Floristmeisterin trained at Weihenstephan, leads the floristry side. The wider team — recognisable on site by their pink polo shirts — includes long-serving staff such as Bajram Krasniqi, who in May 2024 marked his 30th anniversary with the nursery. The Haus der Rosen shop is open from late March until Christmas every year, and the family also runs a market stall on Stuttgart’s Marktplatz (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 7:00–13:00; winter Saturdays only).
The Fellbach Rose & Events
In 2023, for the town’s 900th anniversary, Peter Schwarzkopf and a rose breeder selected a special city rose, the «Fellbach-Rose»: a repeat-flowering ground-cover type grafted onto a wild rootstock for extra vigour, reaching 60–80 cm in height, very disease-resistant and winter-hardy, with velvety red blooms (Samtrot) on top and a silvery-white reverse that echoes the town’s colours. From summer 2023 it has been planted in round beds at several town entrances and shown in the show gardens of the Lutherkirche and of the Schwarzkopf nursery itself, where it is also for sale in pots from late March onwards. Beyond the daily farm-shop business, the glasshouse hosts larger events — the November «Oldies & Goldies» dance party and the December «Glashausparty», each able to welcome around 150 guests for dancing, music and seasonal food.
