协会概况
德国联邦土壤协会（Bundesverband Boden e.V.，缩写 BVB）是 1995 年 6 月 28 日在柏林联邦环境局（Umweltbundesamt）登记成立的全国性土壤保护专业协会，按德国法律登记为 gemeinnütziger eingetragener Verein（公益注册协会），总部位于柏林，业务办公室设在 Bad Essen，会员以土壤学、地球科学、农林、环保与法学背景的从业者为主，规模约 600 人。
创立背景
协会的成立来自德国土壤学学会（Deutsche Bodenkundliche Gesellschaft，DBG）的一次取舍：1993 年 DBG 决定继续聚焦学术方向，不再承担面向行政机关与工程实务的应用推广，时任 DBG 主席 Herbert Kuntze 着手筹备一个独立组织以承接这块工作，但他本人在 1995 年初逝世几个月后 BVB 才正式组建，BVB 与 DBG 自此在结构与人员上保持长期合作。
宗旨与活动
按章程，BVB 的核心任务是把土壤科学的最新认识转化为可操作的工程与行政工具，覆盖欧盟、联邦、州、市镇各级决策层，同时承担公共教育、专业培训、参与联邦与各州法规和标准的起草、以及推动土壤相关研究与示范项目，2007 年与 DBG、ITVA 共同发起 Aktionsplattform Bodenschutz（ABo）行动平台，使三家组织对外以同一声音发声。
期刊与奖项
协会自 1996 年起出版独立季刊《Bodenschutz》（ISSN 1432-170X，Erich Schmidt 出版社），同时维护 BVB-Merkblätter、BVB-Informationen、BVB-Materialien 三个丛刊，自 2004 年起与 DBG 每年联合评选 Boden des Jahres（年度土壤）以面向公众传播土壤知识，会员则按地域分为北、东、南、西四个 Regionalgruppen。
科普门户 Bodenwelten
Bodenwelten 是协会面向公众与学校的科普门户，2001 年上线、2015 年国际土壤年期间完成现代化改版，由联邦环境部资助，主题覆盖土壤理解、保护、利用、建造与规划、教育与世界土壤等大类，常年发布教学材料、新闻、研讨与野外活动信息，是学校课堂与一般公众了解德国土壤保护工作的主要入口。
Profile
The Bundesverband Boden e.V. (BVB) is a Germany-wide soil-protection professional association registered as a gemeinnütziger eingetragener Verein (registered non-profit association) at the Umweltbundesamt in Berlin on 28 June 1995. Its headquarters sit in Berlin with an operational office in Bad Essen, and it counts roughly 600 members drawn mainly from soil science, geosciences, agriculture, forestry, environmental work and law.
Founding Context
BVB emerged from a 1993 decision of the Deutsche Bodenkundliche Gesellschaft (DBG) to stay focused on academic work rather than serve the applied needs of authorities and practitioners. DBG president Herbert Kuntze drove the preparations for an independent body to fill that gap but died a few months before the founding assembly. Since then BVB and DBG have remained structurally and personally linked.
Mission and Activities
Under its statutes the association translates current soil-science knowledge into practical engineering and administrative tools for decision-makers at EU, federal, state and municipal level, alongside public outreach, professional training, participation in drafting federal and state regulations and standards, and the promotion of soil-related research and demonstration projects. In 2007 it joined DBG and ITVA to launch the Aktionsplattform Bodenschutz (ABo), a joint advocacy platform for soil protection in Germany.
Journal and Awards
BVB has published the independent quarterly journal Bodenschutz (ISSN 1432-170X, Erich Schmidt Verlag) since 1996 and maintains three standing series — BVB-Merkblätter, BVB-Informationen and BVB-Materialien. Together with DBG it has chosen the Boden des Jahres (Soil of the Year) every year since 2004 to reach a wider public, and its members are organised into four Regionalgruppen covering North, East, South and West Germany.
Public Portal Bodenwelten
Bodenwelten is the association’s public-facing portal for schools and general audiences. It went online in 2001 and was comprehensively redesigned in 2015 during the International Year of Soils with funding from the Federal Ministry for the Environment. The portal covers soil understanding, soil protection, soil use, building and planning, education and soils of the world, and publishes teaching materials, news items, workshops and field events.
