Shane Smith (born March 1954) is the founder and director of the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens, Wyoming’s only public botanic garden, established in 1977. Smith holds a BS in Horticultural Science, completed the Loeb Fellowship in Advanced Environmental Studies at Harvard University in 1989–1990, and is a registered Horticultural Therapist (HT) with the American Horticultural Therapy Association.
