WMNLA积极投身园艺教育公益事业。2025年,协会向密歇根州克林弗斯维尔市(Coopersville)的FFA项目捐赠了一座商业级花卉冷藏柜,用于支持植物科学教育及花卉学科竞赛。此外,WMNLA还设立了高中与技术中心园艺资助计划(Horticulture Grant Program),面向Ottawa、Muskegon、Kent、Allegan、Newaygo和Oceana六个县的高中及技术中心,每项资助起始金额为500美元,用于扶持校园园艺教育项目发展。

The West Michigan Nursery & Landscape Association (WMNLA) is a Michigan-based non-profit organization serving the “Green Industry.” Its members include landscape designers, contractors, landscape management companies, wholesale nurseries, and retail centers across West Michigan, dedicated to promoting professionalism, standardization and sustainable development in the local horticulture and landscape industry.

Mission and Values

WMNLA members share core values: professionalism and integrity in business practices; promoting member welfare and prosperity; encouraging environmental responsibility and public trust; raising public awareness of the industry’s contribution to quality of life; providing highest quality workmanship, service and materials at fair prices.

Main Activities

The association holds regular membership meetings from October through February at lunchtime, providing a platform for industry exchange and learning. WMNLA also maintains an online member directory showcasing member businesses for industry collaboration.

Community Programs

WMNLA is committed to horticulture education. In 2025, the association donated a commercial floral cooler to the Coopersville FFA program to support plant science education and floriculture competitions. Additionally, WMNLA established a Horticulture Grant Program for high schools and tech centers in Ottawa, Muskegon, Kent, Allegan, Newaygo, and Oceana counties, with grants starting at $500 per award to support campus horticulture education.
