历史沿革

De Pauw（德保乌花园植物中心）是比利时 Bornem 地区最大的植物中心，成立于1966年。创始人 André De Pauw 与妻子 Godelieve 在 Bornem 创办了小型植物苗圃，如今已传承至第二代——儿子 Dries 继承经营，André 本人仍积极参与日常工作。Nadine、Christophe、Christel 和 Alice 组成的专业团队确保苗圃和销售业务的顺利进行。

规模与特色

中心拥有超过2000种植物品种，约三分之二的植物来自自有苗圃。中心采用生态友好种植方式：收集和回收雨水，减少资源浪费。同时支持 Cool Earth 等绿色环保组织，参与热带雨林保护和应对气候变化。

荣誉认可

2024年9月，独立评审团授予 De Pauw “花园中心质量奖”5星称号，使其成为比利时仅次于冠军的植物中心，有效期至2026年底。评审团特别赞扬了中心植物的高品质和丰富品种、员工的专业知识，以及中心独特的自然环境。

History

De Pauw is Belgium’s premier garden plant center, founded in 1966 by André De Pauw and his wife Godelieve. Today, it has grown into a reputable garden center led by their son Dries, with André still actively involved. A dedicated team including Nadine, Christophe, Christel, and Alice ensures smooth operations.

Scale and Features

The center offers over 2,000 plant species, with approximately two-thirds from its own nursery. The center uses eco-friendly growing methods: collecting and recycling rainwater to minimize waste. It also supports green initiatives like Cool Earth, fighting rainforest deforestation and climate change.

Awards and Recognition

In September 2024, an independent jury awarded De Pauw the “Garden Center Quality Award” 5-star rating, making it Belgium’s second-best plant center, valid until the end of 2026. The jury praised the center’s high-quality plants, rich variety, professional staff, and unique natural environment.
