从哈勒姆花店到弗莱福兰

阿尔梅尔花园中心是家族生意。搬到阿尔梅尔之前，这一家人先后在哈勒姆和阿姆斯特丹开过花店。1995 年全家落脚弗莱福兰省，才有了现在这处花园中心；2013 年搬到现在这个位置以后，周边居民把它当成常去的地方。

网站的关于我们页面把这段经历写得很直白：花园中心是一步一步长大的，如今成了阿尔梅尔一带的一个固定去处。店里最被客人认可的是货品齐全——家里用的、院子里用的、给宠物准备的，都能一次买齐。

每周七天开门的卖场

花园中心一周七天开门：周一到周五 9:30 到 18:00，周六 9:30 到 17:00，周日 10:00 到 17:00。关门前十分钟可能不再放行，页面会提前提示。

商品分几块：植物、花盆、宠物、烧烤、家居装饰、礼品卡、园艺养护，另外还有一家常驻的餐厅 Restaurant Bij Drewes。店里说自己最出名的是品类最全，从春天的球根一路排到年末的圣诞装饰。

作为经销商，花园中心同时代理二十个品牌：Bolsius、Calex、Luxform、Capi Europe、Gardena、Cosi、AeroCover、ECOstyle、Esschert Design、Lumineo、Felix、Garden Impressions、Hartman、Biohort、Renske、JUB Holland、Kjelvik、Nature、Pokon Naturado、WOLF-Garten。

植物区与自建的植物百科

植物区分室内植物和花园植物两大块，花园植物里还有多年生和一年生两类。春季上架的球根和早春开花植物是主打货，店里也备着适合鸟、蝴蝶和各种昆虫的商品。

网站另有一份自建的植物百科，可以按学名、荷兰语名或植物类型查找，也能按庭院风格筛选，客人能自己攒一份种植清单；页面每周还会推荐一种当周植物。

宠物与户外用品专区

宠物区不是附带的一小块，而是写明了的独立部门：宠物食品、宠物用品、花园池塘、鱼缸和观赏鱼、鸟食与鸟具都成列上架，店员里有专门的宠物顾问，能给养鱼、养鸟和养猫狗的人出主意。

户外这边有花园养护工具、烧烤用具、家居装饰和礼品卡。买得多可以办客户卡，绝大多数商品每消费 1 欧元记 2 个积分，500 个积分抵 5 欧元。

服务与一年两度的热闹

服务里最实在的几条：给花园植物和室内植物免费上盆，推车免费借用，可以送货，网上下单还有 14 天退货权和阿尔梅尔周边的快速配送。

一年里两场活动撑起两个高峰：春天的球根季和夏天的户外家具展，年末整个卖场会改造成圣诞布展。店里说这是弗莱福兰省最漂亮、规模也最大的圣诞展，每年有外地客人专程赶来。

近年新添的还有植物百科页面和手机应用，客人的积分余额也能在应用里直接查。

From Haarlem Flower Shops to Flevoland

Almeer Plant is a family business. Before the family moved to Almere it had run flower shops in Haarlem and in Amsterdam. It settled in the province of Flevoland in 1995 and opened what is now this garden centre; after the move to the present site in 2013 it has become a regular stop for people in and around Almere.

The about page on the site tells the story plainly. The garden centre grew step by step and has become a fixture in the town. What the customers praise most is the range: everything for the house, for the garden and for pets can be bought in one visit.

Open Seven Days a Week

The centre opens seven days a week, from 9:30 to 18:00 Monday to Friday, 9:30 to 17:00 on Saturday and 10:00 to 17:00 on Sunday. Access can be refused in the last ten minutes before closing time, and the site warns about this beforehand.

The stock is split into plants, pots, pets, barbecues, home decoration, gift cards and garden maintenance, plus a permanent restaurant, Restaurant Bij Drewes. The centre says its strongest point is the breadth of the range, running from spring bulbs all the way to the Christmas displays at the end of the year.

It is also a dealer for twenty brands at once: Bolsius, Calex, Luxform, Capi Europe, Gardena, Cosi, AeroCover, ECOstyle, Esschert Design, Lumineo, Felix, Garden Impressions, Hartman, Biohort, Renske, JUB Holland, Kjelvik, Nature, Pokon Naturado and WOLF-Garten.

The Plant Section and a Plant Guide of Their Own

Plants are split into indoor plants and garden plants, and the garden range covers perennials and annuals alike. Flower bulbs and early spring flowering plants are the season’s main event, and the centre also stocks goods for birds, butterflies and all kinds of insects.

The site carries a plant encyclopedia of its own. Plants can be looked up by scientific name, Dutch name or plant type, filtered by garden style, and saved into a personal list; each week the page also picks out a plant of the week.

A Pet Department and Outdoor Goods

The pet department is not a small corner but a separate department in its own right: pet food, pet accessories, garden ponds, fish tanks and aquarium fish, bird food and bird houses are all lined up on the shelves, and the staff include specialists who advise on fish, birds, cats and dogs.

On the outdoor side there are garden maintenance tools, barbecues, home decoration and gift cards. Regular buyers can take out a customer card, which awards two points per euro on almost the whole range, with 500 points worth five euros.

Services and Two Busy Seasons

Several of the services are practical rather than decorative: potting for garden and indoor plants is free, trolleys are lent out at no charge, delivery is available, and online orders come with a fourteen day return right and fast delivery around Almere.

Two events mark the year. Spring brings bulbs, summer brings the outdoor furniture show, and at the end of the year the whole centre is turned into a Christmas display. The centre says this is the most beautiful and the largest Christmas show in Flevoland, and visitors come from elsewhere in the country specifically to see it.

Newer additions include the plant guide pages and a mobile app, in which customers can check their points balance.
