IPM Essen设植物（1、1A、2、5-8号馆及Galeria）、技术（3、4号馆，含创新技术中心）、花艺与零售（5号馆，花艺表演区）及园林资材与城市绿化（7号馆Wood Arena等）四大展区，聚焦气候适应型植物、可持续栽培、AI智能温室等前沿议题。

Scale and Participation
IPM Essen is the world’s leading trade fair for horticulture. Founded in 1983 and held annually in January at Messe Essen in Germany, the fair covers four main areas: Plants, Technology, Floristry, and Garden Features. The 2026 edition featured 1,476 exhibitors from 41 nations and attracted over 40,000 trade visitors, with 41% attending from abroad. Exhibitors span plant breeders, nursery producers, horticultural technology suppliers, florists, and landscape companies, covering the entire horticulture value chain.
Four Theme Areas
The fair occupies dedicated halls: Plants (Halls 1, 1A, 2, 5-8 and Galeria), Technology (Halls 3, 4 with the Innovation Center), Floristry & Retail (Hall 5 with the Flower Stage and Discovery Center), and Garden Features & Urban Greening (Hall 7’s Wood Arena and Green Cities Europe Award area). Key themes include climate-resilient plants, sustainable cultivation, and AI-driven greenhouse technology.
Partners and Awards
Organised by Messe Essen GmbH in cooperation with the Central Horticultural Association (ZVG) and the Horticultural Association of North Rhine-Westphalia, the fair issues multiple industry awards including the IPM Novelties Showcase, Show Your Colours Award, and the IGOTY Awards for ornamental plant production.
