四大业务板块
集团的业务以草种业务为核心，配套生态工程、花卉园艺和草业机械三大板块。草种业务覆盖草坪草、牧草、生态草和绿肥草种四大品类，目前共引进筛选和自主培育 40 余类、320 余个优质品种，分为冷季型、暖季型和过渡带地区适宜品种，可广泛用于公园、庭院、运动场、铁路公路护坡等绿化工程。生态工程业务承担了 2019 年北京世界园艺博览会克劳沃展园的设计与施工并荣获企业展园银奖。花卉园艺业务以”克劳沃（北京）园艺科技有限公司”为主体，是中国最大的花卉种球供应商之一，与荷兰、智利、新西兰、法国等国家的专业生产商建立了战略合作，主营百合、郁金香、风信子、马蹄莲、朱顶红、香雪兰、唐菖蒲、欧洲水仙等优质进口种球。草业机械业务代理 MCHALE、SAMASZ、JACTO、GRIBALDI&SALVIA、BALDAN、ORKEL 等国际知名农业机械品牌，产品涵盖植保设备、草原生态修复设备、牧草收割加工设备、免耕播种机和拖拉机等多个领域。
科研体系与产学研合作
集团率先在行业内成立”克劳沃草业研究院”，由 20 余名科研人员组成，下设豆科牧草育种、禾本科牧草育种、草坪草和观赏植物育种、生态修复、配套产品开发五个研究方向的课题组。研究院先后在北京、内蒙古、宁夏等地区建立了 3500 亩高标准科研示范基地，与国内外十余所知名院校和科研机构深度合作。目前已通过国家及省级审定登记育成品种 3 个、引进品种 27 个，累计获国家发明专利 1 项、实用型专利 44 项、软件著作权 10 项、注册商标 30 余项，科研成果曾获”教育部科技进步二等奖”。国内外合作伙伴包括中国农业科学院、中国农业大学、北京林业大学、甘肃农业大学、美国农业部牧草种子生产研究中心、美国密歇根州立大学、新西兰梅西大学、加拿大萨斯喀彻温大学、德国联邦农科院草原所和美国俄勒冈州立大学等。

It is a state-owned enterprise formerly under the Ministry of Agriculture that specializes in the grass industry and is the only grass-industry enterprise among the “China Seed Industry Top 50” companies. Company Profile and Historical Development
Clover Group has been dedicated to China’s grass industry for nearly three decades under the core philosophy of “Creating New Green Value.” The group holds three international certifications, namely ISO9001 for quality management, ISO14001 for environmental management, and OHSMS18001 for occupational health and safety management, and has obtained the national first-class qualification for urban landscape greening. In 2017, after completing its restructuring and capital expansion, the group set sail again under the strategy of “technology-driven, full-industry-chain, and internationalization,” fulfilling the responsibilities of a state-owned enterprise to advance China’s grass industry and the “lucid waters and lush mountains” mission.
Four Business Lines
The group’s core business is the grass seed line, supported by three complementary lines: ecological engineering, flower horticulture, and grass industry machinery. The grass seed business covers lawn grasses, forage grasses, ecological grasses, and green-manure grasses, with more than 40 categories and over 320 varieties introduced or bred domestically, divided into cool-season, warm-season, and transition-zone types suitable for parks, gardens, sports fields, and railway/road slope greening. The ecological engineering line designed and built the Clover Exhibition Garden at the 2019 Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition where it won the Enterprise Garden Silver Award. The flower horticulture line, operated by Clover (Beijing) Horticultural Technology Co., Ltd., is one of China’s largest flower bulb suppliers, with strategic partnerships with producers in the Netherlands, Chile, New Zealand, and France, supplying lily, tulip, hyacinth, calla lily, amaryllis, freesia, gladiolus, and European daffodil bulbs. The grass industry machinery line represents internationally known brands such as MCHALE, SAMASZ, JACTO, GRIBALDI&SALVIA, BALDAN, and ORKEL, covering plant protection equipment, rangeland ecological restoration equipment, forage harvesting and processing equipment, no-till seeders, and tractors.
Research System and Industry-Academia Collaboration
The group was the first in the industry to establish the Clover Grass Industry Research Institute, staffed by more than 20 researchers and organized into five research groups covering legume forage breeding, grass forage breeding, turf grass and ornamental plant breeding, ecological restoration, and supporting product development. The institute has built 3,500 mu of high-standard research demonstration bases in Beijing, Inner Mongolia, and Ningxia, and collaborates with more than ten domestic and international universities and research institutions. To date, Clover has registered 3 domestically bred varieties and 27 introduced varieties through national and provincial review, accumulated 1 national invention patent, 44 utility model patents, 10 software copyrights, and more than 30 registered trademarks, and its research achievements have been awarded the “Second Prize of the Ministry of Education for Science and Technology Progress.” Its partners include the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, China Agricultural University, Beijing Forestry University, Gansu Agricultural University, the USDA Forage Seed Production Research Center, Michigan State University, Massey University in New Zealand, the University of Saskatchewan in Canada, the German Federal Research Centre for Agriculture (Institute of Grassland), and Oregon State University.
Industry Influence and External Engagement
The group serves as a practice base for students from China Agricultural University and is a core member of the National Grass Industry Technology Innovation Alliance, the Grass Industry Branch of the China Animal Husbandry Association, and the Grass Industry Branch of the China Seed Association. It acted as a sponsor and builder for the 2019 Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition and established its own enterprise exhibition garden in the expo park.
