About Orient Landscape

Beijing Orient Landscape and Environment Co., Ltd. (stock code: 002310), founded on August 8, 1992, was the first A-share listed company in China’s landscape architecture industry. The company was listed on the Shenzhen SME Board on November 27, 2009 and is widely regarded as “China’s No.1 landscape stock.” In 2019, the Beijing Chaoyang SASAC became the actual controller of Orient Landscape. At the end of 2024, the company successfully completed its restructuring plan and introduced restructuring investors with industrial empowerment capabilities. Today, Orient Landscape operates a dual-main-business strategy combining “investment, construction and operation of wind-solar new energy power stations + ecological environmental protection,” positioning itself as an ecological-urban-rural and better-life operator committed to providing full-industry-chain integrated solutions for high-quality urban-rural development.

Orient Landscape integrates planning, design, engineering, operation, and resource recycling across three core business segments — ecological environment, industrial operations, and environmental protection — and twelve product lines including landscape art, water management, mine restoration, ecological afforestation, ecological agriculture, cultural tourism, public products, product innovation, environmental factories, wastewater treatment, renewable resources, and low-carbon smart systems. The company covers 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across China, has delivered over 100 benchmark ecological and environmental projects, currently has more than 450 projects under construction, and has built a cumulative landscape area of 10,000 hectares.

Core Business System

Orient Landscape pioneered the “Water Resources + Water Environment + Water Landscape” three-in-one plus smart water management approach to solving water environmental challenges through water resource management. With 30 years of technological accumulation and project operation experience, the company has constructed landmark ecological landscapes including Beijing Oriental Plaza (Asia’s largest rooftop garden), Shaoxing Jianhu Lake, Shanghai Sheshan, Suzhou Jinji Lake, Wanning Shenzhou Peninsula Golf Course, Beijing Tongzhou Canal Cultural Square, Beijing Capital Airport Terminal T3, Beijing Olympic Center, and Zhuzhou Shennong City, establishing its leadership position in the landscape industry. The wastewater treatment segment operates through subsidiaries such as Zhongshan Environmental Protection and Shanghai Liyuan, while the hazardous waste business, supported by Fuyang Jinyuan Copper Industry, Fuyang Sheneng Solid Waste, and Suzhou Wuzhong Solid Waste subsidiaries, has built a full industrial chain capability with plasma technology, multi-hearth furnace technology, PCB acidic/alkaline waste etching solution recycling technology, and high-frequency microwave organic hazardous waste treatment technology.

The company’s environmental protection segment holds more than 140 patents including 28 invention patents, and has received honors such as the 2019 National Science and Technology Progress Second Prize, the 2018 Environmental Protection Science and Technology Award, and recognition as a “National Intellectual Property Advantage Enterprise.” Going forward, the dual-main-business strategy combining wind-solar new energy with ecological environmental protection will enable Orient Landscape to deepen its presence in core green development sectors.

Development Milestones

Founded on August 8, 1992 as Beijing Orient Landscape Art Company, the firm began by serving high-end hotel plant leasing clients such as Jing Guang Center and China World Trade Center before entering the real-estate landscape engineering sector. In 1996, it built Beijing Oriental Plaza, Asia’s largest rooftop garden, marking its entry into municipal landscape. The Orient Landscape Group was formally established in 2000 with shareholding reform completed and an IPO plan launched. The company was listed on the Shenzhen SME Board on November 27, 2009. In 2011 it acquired Shanghai Nita Design Institute to form the East Union Design Group; in 2015 it relocated to Jiuxianqiao Electronics City IT Industrial Park and acquired Fuyang Jinyuan Copper Industry, Fuyang Sheneng Solid Waste, Suzhou Wuzhong Solid Waste, and Zhongshan Environmental Protection, entering the industrial hazardous waste disposal and small-town wastewater treatment markets. In 2016 the Environmental Protection Group was established, and the company became a leading private PPP enterprise covering 200 cities and 200 clear rivers. In 2019 it became the first A-share listed company under the Beijing Chaoyang SASAC.

At the end of 2024 Orient Landscape successfully completed its restructuring plan and introduced restructuring investors with industrial empowerment capabilities, officially transitioning to a dual-main-business strategy of wind-solar new energy power stations plus ecological environmental protection. With its mission “Caring for the Earth, Honoring a Better Future,” Orient Landscape has signed strategic cooperation agreements with the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and the Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal (FHAN), and successfully hosted the 2024 World Conference on Sustainable Development of Human Settlements, signaling its expansion from a leading domestic landscape and environmental group to an internationally engaged green development operator.

Industry Position and Representative Projects

Leveraging the “three-in-one plus” governance philosophy and the synergy of its twelve product lines, Orient Landscape has become a global leader in the landscape industry by market value and a leading brand in China’s ecological environmental protection sector. Representative ecological projects include Changning Youyun Agricultural Ecological Park, Wuhan Maying River in Hubei, Huangshi Garden Expo Park, Shiyan China Water Park, Wuzhou Garden Expo Park, Beijing Fangshan Liulihe Wetland Park, Nanchang Libuhu Park in Jiangxi, Huzhou Wuxing Xishan Yang Ecological Wetland in Zhejiang, Changsha Baima Lake Wetland Park in Hunan, Xiangyang Moon Bay Urban Wetland Park in Hubei, Xiangyang Xijiachi in Hubei, Pixian Qingshui River Comprehensive Treatment in Sichuan, Jianyang Aoshang Park in Sichuan, Kaifeng Bianxi Lake Wetland Landscape in Henan, and Fuyang Chengnan New District Water System Comprehensive Treatment in Anhui, alongside cultural tourism projects such as Jinhu Yaoxiangguo Cultural Tourism Resort and Chuzhou Minghu Cultural Leisure Tourism Resort.

Under its dual-main-business strategy, the company will continue to deepen its expansion in wind-solar new energy and ecological environmental protection, partnering with collaborators to create a new chapter of high-quality green development.
