关于伯肯格罗夫花园中心
伯肯格罗夫花园中心（Birchen Grove Garden Centre）在伦敦西北部 Kingsbury 开了二十五年以上，店门口自己挂着「伦敦最大的花园中心」这块牌子。场子在 Welsh Harp 自然保护区边上，四周是林地，离温布利球场、Brent Cross 购物中心和北环线都不远，看着像郊外，实际开车没多久。
停车位超过一百五十个，全部免费。园艺、遛娃、喝杯咖啡都可以在同一个院子解决，很多客人会在逛店之前先在园子里走一圈。
各卖场分布
卖场分得很细，一共九个区。户外植物区是招牌，店里说这是伦敦西北部最宽的户外植物 selections 之一，时令花卉、多年生植物、灌木和成苗大树都有，一棵就能改变一个花园的样貌；种子、球根、攀缘植物、花盆和堆肥也放在这一区。
往里走是室内植物区，养护简单的、开花型的、大件摆件和净化空气的都有，店员会按房间采光和主人的熟练程度帮忙挑。园艺养护区放堆肥、表土、肥料、草坪肥、除草剂、喷灌设备和病虫防治品，工具也在那儿。剩下的区依次是儿童玩具、礼品家居、户外家具、陶土花盆和园艺景观材料、野生鸟类护理，以及每年换场的圣诞区。
水族与草皮两个独立品牌
园子里有两个外来品牌占着独立店面。一个是 Maidenhead Aquatics，做冷水鱼和热带鱼，兼营鱼缸、过滤器、照明、底砂和水质处理用品，也卖活体水草、硬景和装饰件，店员会按鱼缸大小和饲养者的熟练程度配鱼。英国的养鱼圈里它是连锁品牌，Wembley 这家店设在花园中心里面。
另一个是 London Lawn Turf Co.，做草皮和园艺工程材料的 depot，就在花园中心最里头那条路的尽头，除了草皮还卖表土、堆肥、露台板材（Millboard 复合露台板有实物样板墙），以及散装柴火。这个牌子做 M25 环线以内和以外的铺草皮与园艺工程材料已经十多年，2010 年还把 The London Decking Company 收了进来。工作日八点到五点，周六上午半天，周日休息。
餐饮与儿童区
Garden Café 是园子里的咖啡馆，刚翻新不久，做现磨咖啡、早餐、三明治和自家做的蛋糕，素食、无麸质都能点，可以带狗进来，店员会给狗准备零食和饮水碗。工作日上午九点半到下午四点，周六多开半小时，周日十一点开，不接受订座。老人团体每两周三上午来一次，叫 Evergreen Coffee Club。
儿童这边分两块。The Grove Playtown 是室内角色扮演城，给一岁到七岁的孩子玩，十一个主题区，每场一个半小时，每场限二十五人，要提前网上订票，进去必须穿袜子。旁边还有户外游乐区和四轮摩托车的场地。Garden Café 和 Playtown 之间其实可以互相照应，家长坐着喝咖啡，孩子在隔壁玩。
交通与开放时间
开车走 A5 或北环线 A406，园内免费停车。坐地铁的话 Kingsbury 站就在 Jubilee 线上，走过来几分钟，能直达市中心、温布利公园、Stratford、伦敦桥和 Canary Wharf。公交有 83、112、182、297、302 几路，都在门口不远处停。打车可以直接在正门上下客，园子没有专门的出租车排队区。
商店和咖啡馆一周七天都开。圣诞区每年十一月就开始布置，从圣诞树、彩灯到家居装饰和季节摆件，是全年最热闹的一块地方。
About Birchen Grove Garden Centre
Birchen Grove Garden Centre is in Kingsbury, north-west London, and has been trading for more than twenty five years. The site bills itself as London’s largest garden centre. It sits next to the Welsh Harp nature reserve among quiet woodland, close to Wembley Stadium, Brent Cross Shopping Centre and the North Circular, yet feels like a countryside retreat.
There are more than 150 free parking spaces on site, which makes it an easy destination for gardeners and families alike, and many visitors walk round the grounds before going into the shops.
The Departments
The centre is split into nine departments. Outdoor plants are the main draw, with seasonal bedding, perennials, shrubs and mature trees, alongside seeds, bulbs, climbers, pots and compost. Indoors there are houseplants for every light level, a garden care range covering compost, topsoil, fertiliser, lawn feed, weed control, watering equipment and pest treatment, plus toys and games, gifts and homeware, outdoor living, stoneware and landscaping materials, wild bird care and a Christmas department that changes every year.
Aquatics and Turf
Two outside brands trade inside the site. Maidenhead Aquatics runs an aquatics section dealing in coldwater and tropical fish, tanks, filters, lighting, substrates and water treatment, with live plants and hardscape to complete the setup. London Lawn Turf Co. operates a depot at the far end of the site, supplying turf, topsoil, compost and landscape materials across and beyond the M25, with Millboard composite decking samples on display; it also runs The London Decking Company, acquired in 2010, and sells bulk logs.
Cafe and Playtown
The Garden Café, recently refurbished, serves coffee, breakfast, sandwiches and homemade cakes with vegetarian and gluten-free options, welcomes dogs with treats and a water bowl, and does not take bookings. The Grove Playtown is an indoor role-play centre for children aged one to seven, with eleven themed areas, sessions of an hour and a half capped at twenty five children, pre-booking required and socks compulsory. Evergreen Coffee Club, a social group for seniors, meets every other Wednesday.
Getting There and Seasonal Trade
Drivers come in off the A5 or the North Circular A406 with free parking on site. Kingsbury Underground station on the Jubilee line is a short walk away, with direct links to central London, Wembley Park, Stratford, London Bridge and Canary Wharf, and buses 83, 112, 182, 297 and 302 stop close by. Shop and cafe open seven days a week, and the Christmas department sets up from November with trees, lights and seasonal home accessories.
