协会概况
国际树木栽培协会太平洋西北分会（Pacific Northwest Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture, 简称 PNW-ISA）成立于 1979 年，是 ISA 在太平洋西北地区的分会组织，也是美国 501(c)(3) 非营利团体，于俄勒冈州登记，联邦税务识别号 FEIN 91-1492542。分会秘书处位于俄勒冈州 Silverton 市的邮政信箱地址（P.O. 业务范围
PNW-ISA 把面向会员和公众的工作分成几个彼此衔接的项目：专业认证、行业倡导、研究合作、技术推广以及职业发展。认证层面，PNW-ISA 协助会员参加 ISA 国际总部颁发的六类认证考试，包括 ISA Certified Arborist、ISA Certified Arborist / Municipal Specialist、Board Certified Master Arborist、ISA Certified Tree Care Air Spray Operator、ISA Certified Tree Worker / Climber Specialist / Aerial Lift Specialist 等；同时负责 Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) 的再认证培训。Certification 委员会按 ANSI 树艺标准与 Code of Ethics 进行管理，确保会员在 Tree Risk Assessment、Pruning、Soil Management 等环节遵守统一技术规范。
教育与培训
PNW-ISA 一年里会围绕树木栽培的不同专题举办多场 Workshop、Field Day 与网络研讨会，议题涵盖树木风险评估、健康土壤、根系处理、PPE 选择、Plant Appraisal 等。年度培训会议 Annual Training Conference 是会员最大规模的集中培训与交流场合，会同 TCI Expo、各地区 Tree Climbing Competition 共同构成完整的继续教育生态。分会也负责审核 ISA 总部授权的 CEU 学分（Approved CEUs），让会员的认证续期和学分记录在 PNW 区域内同步。

行业合作
PNW-ISA 与多家外部机构保持长期合作：TREE Fund 提供树木栽培研究奖学金，Allied Partners 计划把供应商、培训机构、地方园艺团体接入分会的活动平台，Tour des Trees 是 ISA 总部的标志性筹款骑行活动，PNW 分会每年组队参加。在本地合作方面，PNW-ISA 与华盛顿大学植物园（UW Botanic Gardens）共同举办 After the Storm 风暴后树木评估研讨会，与 Clackamas 社区学院合作开设树木栽培系列课程，并参与 Treasure Valley Tree Selection Guide、Portland Regional Tree Climbing Competition、PNW Tree Failure Database 等项目。
Chapter Overview
The Pacific Northwest Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture (PNW-ISA) was established in 1979 as the regional chapter of ISA for the Pacific Northwest. PNW-ISA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization registered in the State of Oregon, with federal employer identification number 91-1492542. The chapter office operates from P.O. Box 811, Silverton, OR 97381, and serves working arborists and urban foresters across Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia. Since its founding the chapter has been a regional resource and advocate for the green industry, helping homeowners, municipalities, and tree-care companies find qualified professionals through directory searches, public education, and standards-based training.
Programs & Certification
PNW-ISA organizes its work into four overlapping program areas: professional certification, advocacy, research, and continuing education. On the certification side the chapter supports ISA’s six credentials — ISA Certified Arborist, ISA Certified Arborist / Municipal Specialist, Board Certified Master Arborist, ISA Certified Tree Care Air Spray Operator, and the two ISA Certified Tree Worker tracks (Climber Specialist and Aerial Lift Specialist) — together with the Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ). The Certification Committee enforces the ANSI A300 tree-care standards and the Code of Ethics, and publishes reference material on root removal, risk assessment, plant appraisal, and soil management that is widely cited by municipal arborists.
Workshops & Annual Conference
Throughout the year PNW-ISA runs a mix of single-session classes, multi-day workshops, and field days on topics such as tree risk assessment, healthy soils, root removal best practices, personal protective equipment, plant appraisal, and tree climbing technique. The Annual Training Conference is the chapter’s flagship continuing-education event and is paired with regional Tree Climbing Competitions held in Portland and other PNW cities. The chapter also reviews and approves ISA Continuing Education Units (CEUs) so members can renew their credentials without leaving the region.

Regular membership is $60 per year, or $50 when purchased together with an ISA international membership; life membership is a one-time payment of $600; full-time students can apply for a discounted student membership. Industry Partnerships
PNW-ISA works with a wide circle of partner organizations. Nationally the chapter supports the TREE Fund research and scholarship program, participates in the ISA Tour des Trees fundraising ride, and joins the TCI Expo as an allied partner. Regionally it co-hosts the After the Storm tree-risk symposium with UW Botanic Gardens, runs a series of arboriculture courses with Clackamas Community College, contributes to the Treasure Valley Tree Selection Guide, and stages the annual Portland regional Tree Climbing Competition. Research outputs such as the PNW Tree Failure Database and the Plant Appraisal Guide 10th Edition committee are coordinated through these partnerships and made available to member arborists and municipal forestry staff.
