中西部玉簪协会（Midwest Regional Hosta Society，简称MRHS）是美国玉簪协会（American Hosta Society）第五区域组织，涵盖伊利诺伊州、艾奥瓦州、堪萨斯州、明尼苏达州、密苏里州、内布拉斯加州、北达科他州、南达科他州和威斯康星州九个中西部州份，现有18个地方分会。协会致力于推动玉簪（Hostas）这一美国最受欢迎多年生宿根植物的教育、研究、品种开发与普及推广，同时也是一个因共同热爱这一”友谊之花”而凝聚在一起的园艺爱好者社群。
会员与福利
协会会员费为20美元/两年，包含个人或家庭会员资格（家庭会员涵盖本人及配偶）。会员每年可获赠两期协会内部刊物《Hosta Leaves》，内容涵盖协会活动报道及玉簪养护资讯。首次加入的新会员可获得10美元代金券一张，可在协会合作的玉簪 vendors 处抵扣消费。
年度活动
协会每年举办两场大型活动。冬季研讨会（Winter Symposium）于每年2月下旬在威斯康星州密尔沃基地区举办，是一日式活动，邀请多位讲者分享玉簪及花园园艺的最新资讯，形式轻松实用，适合各层次园艺爱好者参与。夏季年会则由各地分会轮流主办，为期三天，内容丰富包括花园开放日参观、玉簪叶片品种展、供应商展销、植株拍卖、晚宴及专业讲座，最核心的是与会者之间的经验交流与友谊更新。
蒙哥马利奖
协会设有蒙哥马利奖（Montgomery Award），旨在表彰在玉簪品种培育或推广方面做出突出贡献的个人或机构。

English Introduction
The Midwest Regional Hosta Society (MRHS) is Region 5 of the American Hosta Society, covering nine Midwestern states: Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin, with 18 local societies under its jurisdiction. The society is dedicated to promoting the education, research, development, and enjoyment of Hosta, America’s favorite perennial plant, and serves as a community of horticulture enthusiasts brought together by their shared love for this “friendship plant.”
Membership and Benefits
Annual membership costs $20 for two years, covering individual or family membership. Members receive two issues per year of the society’s newsletter, The Hosta Leaves, covering event reports and Hosta care information. First-time members receive a $10 voucher redeemable at participating Hosta vendors.
Annual Events
MRHS hosts two major events annually. The Winter Symposium is held in late February in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area—a one-day event featuring multiple speakers presenting the latest Hosta and gardening information in an enjoyable, down-to-earth format. The summer annual convention is hosted by different local societies each year, offering a three-day program including garden tours, Hosta leaf shows, vendor exhibitions, plant auctions, banquets, and informative lectures, with fellowship among Hosta enthusiasts as its core highlight.
Montgomery Award
The society presents the Montgomery Award to individuals or organizations who have made outstanding contributions to Hosta cultivation or promotion.
