English Introduction
AORA (Australian Organics Recycling Association) is the national industry association for organics recycling in Australia. Founded at the end of the twentieth century by a group of organics recycling professionals, AORA now serves as a platform uniting over 20 major organics recycling businesses nationwide, covering compost, soil amendment, and mulch production and sales.
Vision and Mission
AORA’s vision is that recycling and reuse of organic materials is widely understood and supported by Australians. The association collaborates with governments, environmental organizations, research institutions and communities to create favorable policy and market conditions, promoting compost, soil conditioners and mulches across agricultural, horticultural and landscaping sectors.
Industry Self-Regulation and Services
AORA publishes industry guidelines and best practice manuals, provides technical training and compliance guidance for member businesses. The association organizes annual conferences serving as networking platforms for sharing market trends, policy updates and technological innovations. Members span the entire organics recycling supply chain.
AORA Legends Awards
