国華園历史沿革与品牌由来

株式会社国華園(Kokkaen)创立于1927年(昭和二年)3月1日,商号由現代表取締役会长的祖父故・岸脇繁一先生命名,寓意”经营国花(华)的园圃”。创立初期专注于国花菊花、特别是观赏大菊的品种改良与销售,经过九十余年发展,目前日本观赏大菊品种中约八成以上由国華園育种而成,被誉为”菊的世界第一品牌”。公司总部位于大阪府和泉市,资本金2000万日元,员工300人(男女各半),由岸脇家族世代经营,2022年迎来创业95周年。

全球业务版图与产品体系

国華園已从单一的菊花专业公司发展为业务覆盖种苗、园艺资材、农机、生鲜食品的综合园艺企业。在产品端,公司经营品类涵盖球根、花木、果树、种子、宿根草等各类植物,以及地膜、防草シート、支柱等园艺资材,加上自社品牌耕运机・草刈り机・高枝バリカン等农业机械,以及行车记录仪・防犯摄像头等电子设备。供应链方面,国華園在日本大阪、宮崎、鹿児島等多地设有直营或合作农场,同时在荷兰、意大利、美国、新西兰、中国、台湾、泰国等十余个国家布局生产基地,实现”全球采购、优质低价”的供应模式。

实体门店与销售渠道

国華園旗下运营三家实体园艺中心,均位于大阪府境内。和泉本店占地约15,000坪,配套1000个免费停车位,设”産地直売コーナー”销售当地农家直供生鲜果蔬;貝塚市的二色の浜店占地约10,000坪,同样拥有1000个停车位并设轻食餐饮区;堺市的サンピア店位于泉北高速铁路光明池駅前,以活动和家庭客群为主。三家门店均营业时间为8:30-17:30(サンピア店10:00-19:00),和泉本店与二色の浜店全年无休。在通信销售方面,公司自2002年起开设EC网店,2005年入驻楽天市場,2006年入驻Yahoo!ショップ,提供数字版通販カタログ请求,并通过自有配送中心覆盖日本全国。

菊花文化与日本菊花全国大会

作为菊花育种的世界领军企业,国華園自1984年起主办”高松宮杯 日本菊花全国大会”,该赛事由日本菊花会主办,旨在评选日本第一的菊作品,促进日本国内外菊花会交流、社会情操教育及地域緑化运动的发展,2024年举办第41届、2025年举办第42届,均在二色の浜店园区内举行,会期约一个月,免费向公众开放,每年吸引大量菊花爱好者前往参观。除赛事赞助外,国華園每年发表30-40个菊花新品种,其种苗法大菊品种登录数量占日本整体的八成以上。


History and Brand Origin

Kokkaen Co., Ltd. was founded on March 1, 1927 in Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. The company name was given by the grandfather of the current chairman, signifying “a garden cultivating the national flower.” Originally focused on breeding and selling large-flowered chrysanthemums for ornamental use, Kokkaen now contributes over 80% of Japan’s registered chrysanthemum varieties. Headquartered in Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture, the company employs 300 staff under family-led management and celebrated its 95th anniversary in 2022.

Global Operations and Product Range

Kokkaen has evolved from a chrysanthemum specialist into a comprehensive horticultural enterprise covering plants, gardening supplies, agricultural machinery, and fresh produce. The product portfolio includes bulbs, flowering trees, fruit trees, seeds, perennial herbs, mulching films, weed-control sheets, support stakes, plus proprietary-brand tillers, brush cutters, pole pruners, and electronic devices such as dashcams and security cameras. The company maintains production bases across Japan and overseas partners in the Netherlands, Italy, the United States, New Zealand, China, Taiwan, and Thailand, enabling global sourcing at competitive prices.

Retail Stores and Mail Order

Kokkaen operates three brick-and-mortar garden centers in Osaka Prefecture: the Izumi Main Store (~15,000 tsubo) and the Nishikinohama Store (~10,000 tsubo) in Kaizuka City, both with 1,000 free parking spaces and farm-direct fresh produce corners; and the Sappia Store at Senboku Railway’s Kōmyōike Station in Sakai City. Stores operate 8:30-17:30 daily (Sappia 10:00-19:00, closed Tuesdays). Mail-order channels include the proprietary online shop (launched 2002), Rakuten Market store (2005), and Yahoo Shopping store (2006), supported by three distribution centers in Izumi City and digital catalog requests.

Chrysanthemum Culture and National Competition

Kokkaen sponsors the prestigious “Takamatsu-no-miya Cup Japan National Chrysanthemum Competition” since 1984, held annually at the Nishikinohama Store. The 42nd edition ran from October 20 to November 23, 2025, attracting chrysanthemum enthusiasts nationwide. Beyond competition sponsorship, Kokkaen introduces 30-40 new chrysanthemum varieties each year and holds over 80% of Japan’s Plant Variety Protection Act registrations for large-flowered chrysanthemums, cementing its position as the global leader in chrysanthemum breeding.
