苗圃概况

Wüstemeyer 苗圃坐落在德国北莱茵-威斯特法伦州的下莱茵与明斯特兰交界处, 具体地址位于舍姆贝克 (Schermbeck) 镇边缘, 紧邻著名的罗马-利珀自行车道 (Römer-Lippe-Route)。苗圃占地约 2.8 公顷, 整片苗圃掩映在成片的成树之中, 呈现出开放式公园式的格局, 顾客可在园中悠闲参观。这里也是免费对外开放的杜鹃花园所在, 园区是「威斯特法伦开放花园门户」(Offene Gartenpforte und offene Gärten in Westfalen) 这一区域花园联合体的一员。

苗圃由 Wüstemeyer 家族经营, 是名副其实的家庭式苗圃。负责人 Bert Wüstemeyer 拥有苗圃大师 (Baumschulmeister) 资格, 同时取得树木养护与绳索攀爬技术认证, 并受北莱茵-威斯特法伦州农业局委任为认证考官。Anita Wüstemeyer 是花艺大师 (Floristmeisterin), 同时还修完了由州远程教学管理处认可的园艺设计课程。苗圃同时也是国家承认的培训单位 (anerkannter Ausbildungsbetrieb), 长期接收园艺学徒。两位师傅加上一支受过培训、态度友善的员工队伍, 共同为顾客提供选购建议。

服务范围

苗圃在售植物之外, 还提供完整的园艺配套服务, 包括花园长期养护、定期整枝、绿篱修剪、花园规划与造园、园路与休息区的铺装、露台木工、围栏架设、花坛镶边、草坪卷铺设等。树木养护方面, 团队配备完整的绳索攀爬装备, 可承接复杂的树冠更新、树冠缩减、枯死枝清除以及风暴损害应急处理。同时, 苗圃也提供自有栽培树木的送货与栽种服务。

苗木种类

苗木按用途分为八大类: 小冠幅落叶树、替补树 (自有栽培的槭、山毛榉、栎、梣、栗、椴、悬铃木以及果树)、针叶树与整形树与常绿绿篱、灌木、嫁接杜鹃 (含自有育种)、玫瑰与宿根草本、四照花 (含自有选育的 Cornus kousa ‘Teutonia’, 以大花苞片与树莓状大果实著称)、山月桂 (Kalmia, 提供 ‘Heart of Fire’/’Minuet’/’Olympic Fire’/’Peppermint’ 等品种)。除常见的小规格盆栽与阳台箱栽植物外, 苗圃也常年备有不同尺寸的常绿月桂供作绿篱使用。

资质与社区参与

凭借 Bert Wüstemeyer 的州级考官资格与两人的双大师背景, 苗圃具备承担园艺学徒培养与现场考核的能力。苗圃同时加入了「威斯特法伦开放花园门户」区域联合, 参与年度开放日活动, 让公众有机会免费参观苗圃与附设的杜鹃园。开放时间一般为周一至周五上午八点至下午五点 (中午休息) 、周六上午九点至下午一点。

About

Baumschule Wüstemeyer sits on the rural fringe of Schermbeck, a municipality tucked between the Lower Rhine and Münsterland in North Rhine-Westphalia. Its roughly 2.8-hectare park-like grounds are framed by mature trees and host a free-to-visit rhododendron garden. The nursery is part of the regional Offene Gartenpforte und offene Gärten in Westfalen network, which links like-minded private gardens across the Westphalia region.

Family and Team

The nursery is a true family-run operation. Bert Wüstemeyer is a certified Baumschulmeister (master nurseryman) with additional qualifications in arboriculture and rope-climbing techniques; he also serves as an accredited examiner for the North Rhine-Westphalia Chamber of Agriculture. Anita Wüstemeyer is a master florist (Floristmeisterin) who additionally completed the state-recognised garden-design course. Together with a friendly, trained staff, they guide visitors through plant selection. The nursery is also a recognised training operation (anerkannter Ausbildungsbetrieb) and takes on apprentices.

Services

Beyond its plant catalogue, the nursery offers a full range of garden services: long-term garden maintenance, regular pruning, hedge trimming, garden planning and landscaping, paving of paths and seating areas, timber structures for terraces, fence installation, bed edging, rolled-turf laying, and tree care performed with rope-climbing equipment. The team handles complex work such as crown reduction, dead-wood removal, and rapid response after storm damage, and provides delivery and planting for trees grown on site.

Plant Range

The catalogue is organised into eight sections: small-crowned deciduous trees, replacement trees (maple, beech, oak, ash, chestnut, lime, plane, and fruit trees grown on site), conifers with topiary and evergreen hedging plants, shrubs, grafted rhododendrons (including in-house selections), roses and perennials, flowering dogwoods (with the in-house selection Cornus kousa ‘Teutonia’, prized for large white bracts and raspberry-like fruits), and Kalmia latifolia in cultivars such as ‘Heart of Fire’, ‘Minuet’, ‘Olympic Fire’, and ‘Peppermint’. Smaller plants suitable for tubs and balcony boxes round out the offering.

Qualifications and Community Involvement

Bert Wüstemeyer’s examiner status and the couple’s dual master qualifications allow the nursery to host apprentices and conduct on-the-job assessments. Membership in the Offene Gartenpforte und offene Gärten in Westfalen regional network brings visitors free access to the nursery and its rhododendron garden on open days. Typical opening hours run Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
