丹麦欧登塞 Eriks Oase 花园 – 1984 年建园的私人参观与远足花园

花园沿革

Eriks Oase 位于丹麦菲英岛欧登塞郊外，是一座私人经营的参观与远足花园。1984 年园主购入现址时，院落是一片杂树野草蔓生的荒地：树木相互纠缠、自播接骨木和人高的蓟随处可见。经过逐年清理、补种草坪与多年生花畦，花园的雏形慢慢显现。1988 年的一次 Bogense 倒挂金钟展会促成了转向：自此开始系统收集各类植物，1991 年首个温室落成，倒挂金钟的专类收藏也正式起步。

植物收藏与专类

今日的 Eriks Oase 是一座植物多样性见长的私人花园，品类来自多年走访各地园林的累积。倒挂金钟（Fuchsia）仍是收藏主线，温室中另有百余种天竺葵（Pelargonium）以及俗称「老祖母植物」的旧时品种。露地部分近年逐步扩展到天使号角（Brugmansia，即 Engletrompeter）、凤仙花属（Impatiens）多个非洲与亚洲原种、香茶菜属（Plectranthus）一系列叶片形态各异的成员，以及日渐成形的萱草（Hemerocallis）小规模收集。多年生花境中常见福禄考（Phlox）、松果菊（Echinacea）以及各类球根与宿根花卉。Plantesalg-Specielle 子页列出的扦插母本多来自上述几大类群。

参观与开放安排

花园以轮椅友好为长期目标，主要步道宽展平整，多处设有休息座椅，方便来客一边欣赏一边歇脚。温室旁的花房在天气不佳时也可供使用。传统上，花园在每年七月挑两个周末对外开放（Åben Have），其余时段以团体预约为主：十人以上的团体可另行商定时间。Planteskolen 子页因近年夏季持续高温，植物销售规模已较往年大幅缩减。

花园参观与浪漫花园合作

除本园开放外，园主每年组办一次乘大巴远赴外地花园的一日游，通常六十个名额短时间内即被订满。访客若对菲英岛上的园林有兴趣，园主可协助联系其他开放花园。来访团体经事先商定，园主亦会作为免费向导陪同前往 Sanderumgård 庄园的「Den Romantiske Have」（浪漫花园），这是园主与该庄园长期保持的一项合作。访客为一次完整的花园参观留出一到一个半小时较为从容。

旅行讲座系列

Rejseforedrag 子页列出了八个与旅行见闻相关的幻灯讲座，时长多在七十分钟上下，自带投影与幕布。主题跨越西澳大利亚、新西兰、丹麦南部的三场、荷兰—马德拉、新加坡—澳大利亚—塔斯马尼亚等线路，以图片为主，配历史与背景讲解。目前只有《Highlight From Australia》一讲可以预约，其余讲题正处在修订之中。

Garden Origins

Eriks Oase (Erik’s Oasis) is a private visit-and-outing garden on the outskirts of Odense on the island of Funen in Denmark. When the owner bought the property in 1984 the plot was a wilderness: trees had grown into each other, elder seedlings had self-sown everywhere, and thistles stood head-high. A lawn, a perennial border, and a small kitchen garden came first; the kitchen garden was soon replaced by more lawn once it became clear that self-sufficiency was not on the cards. A trip to a fuchsia show in Bogense in 1988 turned the focus toward ornamental plants. The first greenhouse went up in 1991 and a fuchsia collection began in earnest.

Plant Collections and Specialities

Today Eriks Oase is a botanically diverse private garden, shaped by plants gathered from gardens visited over many years. Fuchsia remains the core of the collection; the greenhouse also holds more than a hundred Pelargonium cultivars and a number of so-called grandmother plants. In the open garden, recent emphasis has shifted toward angel’s trumpets (Brugmansia), a range of African and Asian Impatiens species, several Plectranthus cultivars, and a modest daylily (Hemerocallis) collection. Phlox, Echinacea, and a variety of bulbs and hardy perennials fill the borders. The Plantesalg-Specielle page lists the mother plants from which cuttings are usually offered.

Visiting and Opening Times

The garden is laid out to be wheelchair-friendly, with broad, level paths and many seats where visitors can pause with their own coffee or food. The garden room is available in poor weather. Traditionally two weekends in July are set aside for the annual Åben Have (open garden), with the rest of the year open by prior arrangement for groups of ten or more. The Planteskolen page notes that plant sales have been considerably reduced in recent summers because of sustained hot weather.

Garden Visits and the Romantic Garden Partnership

Beyond its own opening days, the owner organises an annual coach trip to other gardens; the sixty seats usually sell out quickly. Visitors looking for other gardens to combine in a Funen itinerary are pointed toward the lists on the Links page. By prior arrangement, visiting groups can also be accompanied, free of charge, on a guided tour of Den Romantiske Have (the Romantic Garden) at Sanderumgård Manor, a long-standing partnership. Setting aside an hour and a half for a single visit is recommended.

Travel Talks Series

The Rejseforedrag page lists eight illustrated travel talks, most running about seventy minutes; a projector and screen are brought along. Topics range from Western Australia and New Zealand to three tours around different parts of Denmark, the Holland–Madeira route, and the Singapore–Australia–Tasmania journey. At present only ‘Highlight From Australia’ can be booked; the other talks are being re-edited.
