历史沿革
创始人 John William “J.W.” Jung 1903 年赴伊利诺伊州 Rockford 在 H.W. Buckbee 种子公司学徒，1907 年回乡后借母亲厨房印种子目录，1909 年购入 Chandler and Price 滚筒印刷机使年印量达 10,000 份，1913 年因交通不便迁至 Randolph 镇中心，1919 年购入 Alton Hall 歌剧院并新增苗木品类。公司 1952 年建成现总部，1989 年在 Stevens Point 开设第二家花园中心，1990 年代陆续在麦迪逊地区扩张，目前在威斯康星州运营六家花园中心。

Founded in 1907 from a small hand press in the founder’s family kitchen, the company has grown into one of the most recognized family-run seed and nursery brands in the American Midwest, currently led by fourth-generation owner Nathan Zondag, who took charge in 2022.
Product Lines and Catalog Categories
Jung organizes its catalog around nine core gardening categories. Company History
Founder John William “J.W.” Jung apprenticed at the H.W. Buckbee Seed Company in Rockford, Illinois, before launching the business in 1907 from a hand press in his mother’s kitchen. Annual catalog output grew from 400 small black-and-white catalogs to 10,000 by 1909 with the purchase of a Chandler and Price cylinder press, the company relocated to downtown Randolph in 1913, and Alton Hall was acquired in 1919 to add nursery stock. The current headquarters was completed in 1952, the Stevens Point garden center opened in 1989, and three additional Madison-area locations were added during the 1990s, bringing the chain to six Wisconsin garden centers today.
