About Us
At Forest Garden, we know a fair bit about fences; And sheds for that matter. In fact, we’ve been the UK’s leading and most trusted manufacturer and distributor of quality wooden garden products for over 50 years. Today, you’ll find our range of garden buildings, fencing, decking and decorative structures for sale across many sites online and in over 3,000 retail stores.
From the forest to the doorstep – we’re a vertically integrated business
We’re proud to be a British company using sustainable, British timber. The majority of the timber we use is grown and felled from managed UK forests across Scotland. After felling, the timber is cut and processed in our nearby sawmill and taken to our manufacturing operation in rural Worcestershire.
It is here our skilled workforce proudly produce the widest range of garden buildings, fencing and structures available in the UK.
You’ll see the products made from UK timber marked with a Union Jack on the Forest Garden website.
All of the products that we sell are dispatched from our Worcestershire site, here the final part of their journey is managed by our dedicated delivery department and team of drivers who are responsible for distribution to stores or direct to customers’ homes by our fleet of vehicles.
Our History
The traditional British Larchlap Fence Panel has stood the test of time for over 50 years, originally designed by Joseph Corbett & Son in Worcestershire, the company and famous Larchlap panel proudly became part of our heritage with Forest Fencing who starting trading in 1975.
The Forest brand has always had close links with garden centre retailers and has long been synonymous with quality garden products. Today our products are proudly stocked by many garden centres, builders’ merchants and DIY stores throughout the UK.
The main change in our business has been the growth of customers buying our products online. We introduced our own home delivery service in 2006. It means that customers who buy our products on websites can have their order fulfilled and delivered directly by us. Customers can choose their delivery slot and lead times are typically 4 days. Our fleet has increased and we have grown to over 200,000 deliveries to customers homes across a year.
